What's the point of being strong when you can't show it?! Anything Jermain threw landed and Froch was wide open for MANY different punches. Whenever he charges in with a predictable jab you can see his right hand dropping slightly CLEARLY welcoming a left hook or even a punch to the liver, that's how the first knockdown came and Jermain could have kept doing that ALL night but was pulling off to avoid getting tired and he still got tired and KO'd. If Froch is all that Jermain wouldn't have been leading by FOUR ROUNDS without doing ANYTHING past round 5 till 12 and just throwing jabs here and there. I don't really need to comments to make me believe Froch is strong as "****", I have eyes and it was the easiest thing to see, even a NOOB would see it.
regardless of what you think of his skills, any man who wins a fight like that deserves respect. Hopefully when you've had a chance to calm down you will acknowledge this.
So you're telling us Froch won based on defense? You do realise Taylor was leading by FOUR points in the 12th without throwing much of anything past round 5?
I don't know who the hell Danny Jacobs is, but when and if Dirrell were to fight Froch, he would cry when he noticed the size differential and realize that speed was his only asset... Not power.......**** Taylor had speed, power, and experience.... Dirrell would get knocked out considerably faster...
Kessler and Bute would be licking there lips at a potential Froch fight I reckon. Calzaghe should just come back purely to School Froch. That said, Well done to Carl Froch. He has to be applauded for taking the fight and winning it. He's still unbeaten and his stock has gone up, maybe not by a good display of boxing, but his last two fights have certainly entertained. P.s Carl, please stop calling out Calzaghe now. You would look very silly to continue on this path after seeing this performance.
Calm down I was supporting Froch to win because I am from Notts. But I am honest and and I can see that his foot work and defence need to be improved at the highest level.
Of course Froch won the fight on defense. He made Taylor tenative to throw. Taylor was afraid of getting countered and Froch made an unorthadox and tricky opponent to hit in the ring... Froch's defense isn't world class by any means, but it's a start and it's better than Taylor's who still had no clue what to do when he's pressured... I wouldn't say it would just Froch's defense that won the fight though, it was a combination of his chin, punching power, aggressiveness, and Taylor's amateur style... And don't give me that **** about the judges scorecards, because if Taylor won, it would have been a robbery...
I hear what your saying Froch was getting outclassed in the first 7 rounds and was looking crap. It is like watching a stiff slow robot trying to imitate RJJ but Froch goes for the KO and has the power which is what I like!
It's not a case of comparison here, I don't give two shits about comparing both. Froch is more skilled?, thanks for that comment, now I'll make sure to add you to the list of many ******s I wouldn't bother to read the post of. After what I saw tonight anyone that mentions Froch and skills in the same line needs to be stoned to death.
I've read all your pathetic post fight posts and you're obviously mentally challenged! Anyone with half a brain and any boxing knowledge could have worked out that Taylor's got nothin left. He got knocked out in the 12th but it was coming. Hes got no heart stamina or chin hes nearly as pathetic as your amateurish comments. Stay in yank land cos ur ignorance is sad! And u aint even got the balls to admit you picked it wrong! No one said Froch was a technically gifted boxer. But he went to Taylors backyard and sparked him! So stop putting him down and accept he showed he got balls and hes still the champ! Oh and feel free to read my PRE FIGHT posts so u know what im about before posting any ***** ass reply! I GIVE U FITS . FITZ LMAO
I can't see HBO picking up Froch ... and I can see that a ton of fighters from 160-75 would be looking to fight this guy.
If he had power he would have hurt Jermain early, you think the stiff punches he was throwing late were full of power?, the guy was flat footed out of gas walking straight forward from round 6. Froch went for the KO because his opponent was dead tired and was terrible at hiding it. Even the dead tired desperate counters from Jermain in the 11th stun Froch, wake up man.
