Well that makes a significant percentage of the division he fights in also garbage then.

Look man, I've been following his career for years, I'm no fan and the flaws are indeed obvious, but he deserves credit for what he did tonight. He took shots, a lot, he got up off the deck and facing defeat clear in the face he lowered the boom on his tiring opponent and pulled out a deserved win. Any talk about the scorecards was rendered utterly useless the second he stopped him. Taylor's beaten some useful fighters, either way you cut it this is a good win and Froch deserves credit.

I would agree that he will almost certainly receive a 12 round schelacking at the hands of a more robust fighter ala Calzaghe or Kessler.

Froch proved what a Warrior he is tonight....and he certainly has gone up in my estimation.... However he really needs to change/adapt his style and especially his defense...which currently consists of blocking punches with his Chin!
