Here's a good article on Froch/Taylor with some Froch-Calzaghe trash talking thrown in. http://www.oddspreview.com/read/froch-set-to-defend-super-middleweight-crown-against-taylor-121208
70-30 is too much for Froch even if he is champion and he needs to come to the U.S. whatever the terms are. I think Froch is delusional sometimes.
Maybe but he is the champion.A 50-50 wouldn't be right I can't see Taylor signing to fight Froch he will find an excuse from somewhere
Are we allowed to post boxing articles from other sites?? I had one that I was going to but I thought they were cracking down on that along with the fight links. :huh
Why would Taylor be looking for an excuse? Some people say the most idiotic things. Taylor has never ducked anyone. The man is a credit to the sport. Learn what the **** you're talking about before you speak.
He already had a chance to fight Froch but chose an eliminator against Lacy for less money rather than fighting for the title itself for more money!!!Can you explain this??To me he avoided a fight with Froch it is plain to see!
There could be any number of reasons why Taylor chose to fight Lacy. Possibly he didn't know much about Froch and wanted a different fight for his first at the Super Middleweight limit. It is going to take more than this to convince me that Taylor has ducked anyone. Look at Taylor's track record. Accusing him of ducking is a flat disgrace.
I never used the word ducked if you read back.Even in what you said you admit that Taylor avoided/swerved Froch by choosing the Lacy fight instead.I agree Taylor shouldn't be accused of ducking anyone when hes fought who he has but I don't think he fancies the Froch fight too much and I don't blame him..Froch has the belt but still isn't a huge name imo
Well, if Froch wants 70/30 now, that's ridiculous considering the name recognition that Taylor has compared to Froch's. If Froch wanted 50/50 before, that would have been too much at the time also. I never said he "avoided" him, I said he took another option. Your position here, though, sounds better than at first. It sounded like an attack on Taylor who really has done nothing but good for the sport since he showed up on the scene. I can at least see your position more now, despite not agreeing.
