    Hello,

I have not been posting on here much recently as i have had alot happening in my life. So i have not got the general feeling around the british forum as to what people expect from froch and how they expect the fight to turn out.

    Here is my personal analysis.

Froch is a good champion. He hits hard. he has a solid chin and he has a warriors heart. Sometimes it's hard to see how he can be beaten. However,
his punches are seemingly slow alot of the time. He makes it obvious what he's going to throw next. he does not have the greatest footwork and i think hes alot easier to hit then most people do. Also he has not been tested at the highest level before.

Taylor seems to lack motivation alot. But theres no doubt about it, Taylor is be by far the better boxer he has a fantastic jab and often uses it to good effect. Hes quicker by a fair margin and has the better footwork In my opinion. He is far more tested at the top level and has been there and done it all before. Taylor is twice the boxer pascal is (Froch's toughest opponent). but there are still question marks over his punch resistance since the Pavlik fight.

The way i see the fight is as follows.

I see Taylor taking an early lead as froch tries to land big shots early on. Taylor will do most of his work behind his great jab and will land more shots in the first 2-3 rounds without landing anything significant.

As the rounds go on froch will start to come more into the fight. As long as Taylor can avoid froch's massive shots he should still have the speed and movement to win the majority of rounds 3 - 8.

As the fight approaches the 10th Round Froch's corner will make Froch aware that hes losing and needs the knockout. as he gets sloppy and goes for the KO Taylor will win by a late stoppage after a counter punch sets up a Taylor barrage.

Taylor is the new WBC SUpermiddleweight champion

    Thoughts?

Good analysis.I agree that Taylor is just too skilled over the tough but limited Froch. Not sure about the stoppage though.Froch "appears" to be made of steel.I take Taylor by comfortable decision!:good

You could well be right but.... something tells me that deep down Taylor doesnt like fighting as much as Froch does and that can make a big difference. Put simply Froch just has more heart in my opinion. And is bigger. And stronger. Hits harder. And has a better chin.

If only Froch was as skilled and fast as Taylor it would be a walkover. As it is I will take Froch by late stoppage after being made to look ordinary early on.

If Froch gets made to look ordinary early on, when in theory he should be at is strongest and most powerful, he ain't coming back from it.

Froch's stamina is poor. That will only be made even worse if he's eating shots left right and centre. His chances will diminish with each punch.

If he can't get into the fight early on, if Taylor's too fast for him, he's gotta bide his time and get on the jab. Wait for openings later. If he takes a lot of punishment its curtains.
