yes, i was pretty dissappointed during the pavlik fight... man.. i was jumpin for joy when he KD pavlik... but he just couldnt finish him off... then when he tired and had nothing left on his punches... i knew he was in trouble... but im still a fan of his... no matter if he lost...

i just wish manny stewart would've sharpened his skills a little bit when training him... instead of throwing those looping punches...

 

You guys are crazy if you think Froch stops Taylor. Jermaine is going to punish Froch!

 

Well most of you guys are making predictions without actually seeing Froch in action.

 

Manny Steward is not in his corner. Nelson is not dumb enough to take anybody lightly. They did their homework and Taylor knows the guys strengths and weaknesses. He knows he got power. Taylor just dont see the technique or speed in which the guy in front of him can beat him. I cant neither. Pavlik had to land a whole lot to break Taylor down and he landed combos of power shots. Froch cant do that. From that video he shows his no-skills with swinging wide hooks chin in the air like I aint never seen. I know Abraham would knock Froch's head off if they ever fought. And that aint saying much.

 

to be honest... i havent seen TOO much of froch's fights... but just enough on youtube to base an opinion... and from what i've seen, i think taylor will outwork him with the jab to set up that straight right that he throws down the pipe..:good

 

I based my pick on Taylor vs Pavlik II, Taylor vs Lacy, Froch vs Tatevosyan and Froch vs Pascal. Which i watched in a span of 3 days.

 

Taylor by decision.
Taylor's speed will really make Froch feel not in his place,plus Froch is open for that overhand right Taylor likes to throw with regularity.If the american uses his jab then he should really have easy night.
Froch has slow feet,telegraphed punches and wide ones and his chin altough very good is up in the air.He needs to push Taylor in the ropes or at least make him go to the ropes and unload on him.

im with tommyv, (aint seen you on bbc 606 for awhile mate) on this but a bit earlier, froch stops taylor in the 10th! taylor takes the first 5 rounds easy but gases then on and the cobra will strike!

for anyone who dont know froch, froch looks in the shape of his life!!:happy

 

hopefully he spent as much time working on his defense as he did working on his abs!

 

Pavlik KOed TAYLOR and Froch has more power than Pavlik, Pavlik outboxed Taylor in the second fight and Froch is slicker than Pavlik. Froch could win by stoppage or on Points.

Unless Green is shot he should destroy DeLeon Jr who is pretty terrible.
