Froch: "the toughest fighter I have ever met is..."

Every time he tried to put some distance between him and Froch, Froch cut off the ring and bashed him against the ropes. Against Dirrell Froch couldnt cut off the ring for anything and even when he did have Dirrell cornered he couldnt land ****.

See round 11 where Froch had Dirrell cornered twice and couldnt land anything.

Different class of fighter sorry.

Even when Dirrell stood toe to toe with Froch in the 11th and 12th Dirrell still got the best of the exchanges. Hell Taylor didnt use hardly any movement and he still outboxed Froch for the majority of the fight in the pocket.

There is no excuse for getting outboxed by Froch whatsoever.

 

Do you think im biased for Dawson? Stick around then, we can put some wagers on the Pascal vs Dawson fight if you believe im being simply nationalistic and racist.

He can't, he's too busy swinging on PBF, Dawson and Dirrell's nuts.

 

Skills pays the bills. Pascal's sloppy style wont work with Dawson.

 

This thread reminds of the one where someone posted that Calzaghe said Eubanks was his toughest fight and all the Black Americans came on arguing that Hopkins was irrespective of what the guy who actually fought them believes.

Nope look at the man in my avatar. 2 of my favorite fighters currently are Maravilla and Gamboa, both not American.

I like Pascal actually, but he's not elite sorry.

He may be world class but he's not elite. I'd pick Ward, Dirrell, Dawson, and Bute over him right now.

Btw, if charisma mattered to talent level, then Naseem would be an ATG instead of a really good but never great featherweight.

 

I was rooting for Maravilla against Williams, he's one of my favorite fighters.. So fail. I hate Berto and im not a fan of Mosley or Bradley really.


Like I said, if you believe my statements are based on race and nation instead of class and talent then you wouldnt mind putting a wager on Pascal vs Dawson. I'd even give you a 3 round cushion. :thumbsup

 

I would agree that Pascal has been Froch's toughest opponent to date. I wouldn't be surprised though if Kessler takes over that spot though after saturday night. Taylor would be 2nd because he was hammering Froch with some nice shots and put him down for the 1st time, and then Dirrell way down there in 3rd. Dirrell didn't do much, hit him with a few nice shots, but nothing much.

 

Well when someone clearly whupps my ass for the majority of a fight like Dirrell did to Froch and im still able to somehow escape with a win

I don't think he means hardest fight....I think he means toughest! Like can take the most punishment...keeps going when the going is tough, kinda toughest. If you get my drift. And its tough to argue give howmuch punishment Pascal took in that fihgt and wouldn't back down, plus the diaconu II thing was pretty insane.

In Froch's mind he respects toughness more then skill and ability...that is why he and pascal have become friends dispite the two of them jawing eachother quite abit before that fight.

 

Who are we to disagree? We weren't the ones in there fighting those fights.

They're both right. Until they meet each other. Kessler (if he still cares) is potentially tougher than Pascal.
