I can't wait for Froch to get knocked out. Thinks he's way better than he his and someone like Kessler would embrarass him.
I would give Froch a chance of beating Calzaghe. Lets face it, if 'popkins' at the ripe old age of 43 had Calzaghe on his arse, whose to say Froch couldnt put Joes lights out? People can mock Froch, even I have done in the past. You cant deny though that Carl has big power, & an excellent chin. Hes also younger & freasher than JC, so why not? Calzaghe would be a huge betting favourite, but I dont see how it would be a mismatch. Fight wont happen though, but I like the fact that Froch is calling Calzaghe out. Why shouldnt he? Hes his mandatory after all. I would much rather see Joe fighting the brash & cocky unbeaten up & comer rather than watching him UD an 40 something Roy Jones in a snorefest like that last fight.
agreed, but I still think its a bit of a shame that Froch is being slaughtered for daring to call out Joe Calzaghe. If Joe was to beat Jones, but then went on to fight Pavlik, I would be happy. That would be a great end to Joes career if he beat Pavlik. However, Im sure Joes going to decision an old Jones in Wales, & then call it quits. & what a damp squib of an ending that would be.
Yep, Jones then Pavlik would be great finish but without Pavlik the resume would look a lot worse. I think Joe will take Pavlik though purely because its a good fight for him style wise, I see Jones being the harder fight.
I'm not slaughtering him for merely calling out Calzaghe it's the fact he has the nerve to go as far as saying Joe is avoiding him which is utter bollocks. Hopkins would stand Froch on his head even now. Sorry I just cant stand this guy. It's not as if he even does any of the calling out with any style. He has no charisma, he's 31 this year & still hasn't fought a world class opponent besides a past it Reid. He swaggers about like the last gunslinger in town but handles his career with all the abandon of a junior accountant, Swindon branch. Plus contrary to popular belief he is, infact, not Joe's mandatory yet.
come on mate, to say that about joe iducking him is far off the mark, like you have said, but hes not exactly going to say "oh no joe would happily fight me but he would bust me up so i am not going to bother" hes obiously going to try big himself up, i have seen him box live a few times and hes really not that bad, not in joes league but hes capable of a world title this year
