Nobody but nobody will ever beat Froch. Edit: Pff I forgot Froch lost to a post prime Kessler... Maybe his not invincible. Even tho Santa doesn't really exist.
I think most people on this forum believe Bute would beat Froch. And you really don't know your classics... "The greatest trick santa ever pulled, was convincing the world he doesn't exsist." :deal
Why is this forum full of idiots? The whole point of a forum is someone creates a post, voices their opinion and in return expects a form of debate between fellow peers. I'm afraid 'Shut Up' doesn't constitute as anything and just shows that your an idiot with nothing decent to say. Nice.
Taylor: No lucky punch there he wore Taylor down and took him out in the final round. Dirrell: Horrible fight but at least he tried engage instead of running like away or as some people call it "being slick" . Close Decision for Froch and could have gone either way not black and white. Kessler: I agree that he probably lost by 3 rounds but it was a close fight and Froch hurt Kessler more than Kessler hurt Froch in that fight. AA: Froch completely schooled him like Dirrell did but the big difference here is that AA was on his way to KTFO Dirrell in the final rounds whereas Froch loked more likely to stop AA in their fight.
I think you lost your credibility when you say "Froch got lucky in the Taylor fight" or words to that effect. Froch dominated the latter part of that fight, which is a 12 round fight BTW, 36 minutes. The rest of your post was fine.
Yeh it's true but Taylor was ahead on the scorecards and mine. I suppose it wasn't lucky as Taylor tends to loose steam towards the end but it just shows Froch isn't as good as people are making him out to be. The fact is he lost to a post prime Kessler, whereas (I hate to bring this into the equation) Calzaghe dominated a prime Kessler!
Well styles make fights and Calz is a swarmer which Kessler couldn't cope with. That aside, Taylor was undoubtedly ahead on the cards and needed the KO to win. But if Taylor can't pace himself throughout 12 rounds and fades towards the end then it's his own fault, luck has nothing to do with it as there was no one punch pole axe involved. It was a sustained beatdown for the full last round.
True but Froch has been known for calling Calzaghe out for a loooong time, I guess his fight with Kessler showed what would happen if he ever did step in the ring with Calzaghe.
Styles do make fights but the reason Calzaghe was so good was not because of his work rate but more to do with his ability to adapt in a fight and figure the other dude out, watch the fight again Kessler dominated the early rounds but as soon as Calzaghe sussed him out, it was game over. Pure genius.
You make a few valid points but I compeltely disagree with your criticisms of his opposition. Nobody, but nobody has a recent resume as good as Froch's. What if Khan went and beat May/Pac. You could just write: May: Never fought sustained level of top competition, cherry picked opponents based on weight/economical implications. Castillo laid out the blue print to beat him. Pac: Already been KO'd, Marquez beat him twice etc etc... Now we all know the above is just inaccurate, so why bother to try and defame someones opposition like that? Froch is world class, simple as...
