Froch this Froch that, what IF Kessler wins?!?!

I've got him with a good chance of doing so even more clearly than in the first fight. Froch has looked good against Bute, Abraham etc. but Kessler is a much tougher proposition. If he is physically in good shape, Kessler is the better technician and a win certainly ought to get him near the p4p top 10. Don't really see how Bradley (for example) could be ranked above him in such a case.

 

I have Kessler in this one. He is a better pure boxer than Froch and he likes to come forward, Froch will always struggle against effective pressure fighters, and I think that Montoya is turning Kessler into that.
Kessler is not as fast or as accurate as he was back in 06/07, however he has a better arsenal of weapons now, and his power is still there to spice it up.
Also when Froch fought him in 2010 Kessler was probably at his lowest, Kessler was coming off a devastating defeat and had to take 14 months off afterwards, Kessler also had a new coach in his corner. All those things are behind him now and he has 4 fights with Montoya now.

The winner of the fight is guaranteed a top 10 place imo, in fact, i already have Froch in the top 10 and a win would elevate him even further.

 

I've always thought Kessler beats Froch. Maybe Kessler's injuries have caught up with him and the way people judge Froch fights you have to be on your a game and dominate him to get the nod. Some of the scoring against Ward and Dirrell was outrageous

 

No way that guys like Bradley & all other hyped up americans are over than Froch & Kessler honestly.

 

My thoughts as well.

 

Prime vs Prime Kessler beat him every time, he is the better boxer, but i dont know how much he has left, either way it will be good close fight.

 

The crowd played a huge part in getting Mikkel through the first fight,and the same thing could happen here because Froch had started to work him out in the latter stages.
Nothing will surprise me in this fight, but Froch won't fanny about like he did last time and I think he'll take this by two or three rounds.

And of course Kessler will get credit if he comes over and pulls this off.

 

Since his comeback, Kessler's power looks as good as ever. Potentially even better than it has looked during most points of his career.

 

The Kalle Sauerland has the last laugh over Froch.

 

Kessler has said he would rather fight Froch a third time even if he wins than fight Ward again.
