Yesterday danish press had a story based on an interview with Kalle Sauerland stating, that Carl Froch may have accepted to fight in Gemany, due to a bid by Sauerland of 1.000.000 £.

Anyone else heard more on this?

that's basically buying Froch out of the tourney and keeping Abraham in. Anyways, at this point it's just conjecture. Why the **** wasn't all of this worked out pre-tourney?

    Exactly.

One away fight-one home fight, and 3rd round somewhere neutral to all and with all three fights on the same night. That would´ve been one hell of a blast.

That would be approximately 1.5 million $. Sauerland is trying to get the Green fight to Denmark for roughly the same amount.

Froch should take the money and somehow manage to win the decision in Germany. He will have trouble winning by KO, he should concentrate on trying to get the decision from the start of the fight.

Abraham is a slow starter and Froch will easily take the first 4-5 rounds. Then he needs get on the bike and keep boxing, use his guard and refrain from trading with Abraham. He just has to keep running. Even if he loses he could set himself up for a big fight with Bute even if he loses a controversial decision in Germany.

Froch will lose if he tries to KO Abraham, trading toe-to-toe and leaving his guard down.

I think Froch has a decent chance of taking the decision against Abraham. They should naturally get Sauerland to sign a written agreement that they will not bring in Tilleman for the fight :D

This is madness, hes already lost one hometown cooking in Denmark, a country known for hometown cookings much like Germany!

I don't think he can KO AA, the guy fought 75% of a fight with a broken jaw! After AA being robbed in the USA, the Germans will be out for blood, Froch would be crazy to take this fight in Germany.

I think Froch has an advantage from the begining and if he fights a clever fight I think he wins. But AA will of course fight him for it.

    Agreed.

All he has to do is throw jabs from round 1-7, and then run like the wind for the last 5 rounds :yep

At the end of round 7 he wont have been hit yet as Abraham at this point will have thrown 3-5 punches in total :tired

    Says the guy from Denmark.

Fact is, Froch blocked 90% of Kesslers shots, had him all over the place, gave him a free brow lift, smashed him so many times, ( if he didn't like Kessler i swear he would have Ko'ed him when he had Kessler convulting in the centre of the ring)

I mean Kessler did a very good job, but everyone outside of Denmark, and everyone who doesn't hate British fighters, scored it for Froch by 2 rounds.

Don't forget Froch had a volvano and a pregnant fiancee that disrupted his preparations too.

Let's hope froch ko's abraham then and pockets the 1m that would really make my day.

This all stems from froch's promoter being a complete muppet totally out of his depth.

Hennesey should never have allowed those judges to ****ing start with.
