True, you would think sombody would step up and take the chance, but beating Froch in Nottingham is hard enough then going to Montreal to fight Bute straight away with all the nonsense you could get in Bute home town would put allot of people off.I think allot of managers would steer their fighters to an easier path to a Belt, which they could milk fighting nobodys sadly.

It's kind of hard for Froch to get a.... I was gonna say a good opponent as Kessler or Dirrell but thinking about it twice is as hard to get even a Grooves Degale or any decent opponent who in the long run might get a shot to a belt. And the reasons are:
1 As the new IBF champ Froch won't accept to get on the road again, even if the fighter is about the same lvl as him (Kessler) mostly because he's done that, probably now thinking it's you're turn mate.
2 He just demolished Bute who was considered by boxing fans and experts one of the top SMW. Let's say any contender who thought they might do a number on him are having second thoughts now.
1 Any top fighter and decent contender might not want after winning a title against a fighter of Froch caliber(if it happens) to go right into a fight with Bute. That's what i've heard it's stipulated into the Bute contract. Let's say for example Kessler or Dirrel beats Froch in UK, they won't be wanting to be forced into a Bute fight in Canada. Also I don't think any contender would like that either.

    :patsch
Hearn is stuck because of the contact he signed with interbox,he is more then confident that Froch would win his next fight. He can`t let the Bute rematch go without being sued you moron.

    Sued by who?

Bute can fight the guy who beats Froch. Or Bute could fight Froch should he wish to.

If a fighter beats Froch they automatically have to fight Bute. If a fighter beats Froch they can fight Bute without Eddie's involvement.

Why does Eddie Hearn have to be involved? Eddie is demanding options on potential opponents and that is stopping fighters agreeing to fight Froch.

Hmm... the easiest path to a belt is through Abraham, and I can see Sauerland feeding him to Kessler.

You've only got Ward and Froch.... Ward is tied up fighting Dawson, and Froch needs a dance partner.

If I fancied taking Froch on I wouldn't be worried about Bute, who is clearly the more beatable of the two. It's a great chance to make a big name for yourself and catapult yourself into some big fights.

Lose to Froch, oh well.... at least you tried.

Haven't hear much of Yusaf Mack since he KD Librado Andrade. It's more decent than what I expected but isn't he now a LHW ? Anyway much better than Poulard.

I see what you mean, and i agree that if the opponents who turned this down had geniune belief that could beat Froch then it`s silly to turn it down because you have to fight Bute but i think allot of fighters nowdays look for an easy/bogus way of getting a title with all this interim bull**** which is sad.

yeh, he has fought his last nine at light heavyweight. He's getting kod inside 5. In his last five fights he's been stopped twice by glen johnson and tavoris cloud, four losses inside the distance altogether.

Not that he doesn't deserve a cakewalk, but this is horrible.

Sky boxing heading down the toilet. The next few months = Boxnation W by decapitation.

I'm a little disappointed its not pavlik, I know a fair few aren't interested in the fight but it's something I'd have liked to see. Can't blame froch though.
