Froch to Announce Opponent this Monday at 12.30

If this has a good undercard then this is acceptable as a main event.I`m hoping Eddie puts on 2 quality fights as support becuase he won`t be paying Mack anywhere near what Bute got.I aso expect the ticket prices to be more reasonable then the Bute fight.

 

Hopefully you are right on the tickets, I'd love to go watch froch with front row seats, i've got the money saved up for this but as I say I was hoping for pavlik.

Pavlik would of been better,but i think Eddie knows he needs a good undercard for this so you should get value for money and have a great night.The atmosphere was brilliant last time.I`m 50/50 on this myself but it`s a far better fight then Poulard and if anyone deserves an easier fight it`s Froch.

 

It's not the fight that everyone wanted.. but you can't deny Froch an Easy defence.. I'm going as if the Kessler fight doesn't come off next year, this might be the last time Froch fights in the UK.

I thought the Mack fight had fallen through? Bit of a letdown to be honest. I love Froch cos he goes to war with the best, that why he has become a legend in boxing circles. This might sound weird but if he aint gonna fight the best id rather he not fight at all. This is pretty **** poor management from Eddie. He promised Kessler, Pavlik or another big name and we get Mack. In future dont make a fuss unless uve got a big name.

 

that's complete bull**** to be honest. Everyone knows froch deserves an easy fight no matter who is promoting him. This would be perfectly acceptable for most fighters it just happens that froch has set the bar extremely high for himself. I'm disappointed too, i'd rather he had another 3 tough fights and possibly packed it in but I can't blame him for taking an easy one, just seems a shame that his amazing opponent streak has come to an end. After the super six all the rest of the contestants have had an easy fight.

I'm not having a go at Froch at all he deserves an easy fight doesn't make it a good fight though does it. I'm not blaming Froch one bit I am saying Hearn has dissapointed by throwing out names like Pavlik and Kessler then coming up with Yusef Mack

He spent ages trying to make the pavlik fight.

 

I don't agree that everyone would be up in arms if it was frank that's all. If froch didn't want to take this fight I don't believe he'd be made to so I don't put the blame on hearns. Is this 100percent dialed in or is it possible that we have been tricked and it'll be someone else?

 

I bet vast majority would be I feel, Hearn would have offered him the fight and Froch wasn't exactly going to turn down a good payday in-front of his home fans. And it seems legit but you never know
