I think its Bika too but I'm hoping for Kessler.

I've booked a room at the Premier Inn just round the corner from the Capital FM arena already on the 17th.

He can only fight who agrees to fight him, simple as that. If he ends up fighting a lesser name i for one won't be complaining..

If anybody deserves an easier fight it's Froch, it's a potential banana skin though, when you have mixed at the level Froch has, getting up for a lesser fight might be an issue and may affect his performance.

For all his toughness he's mentally at times slightly weaker then one would expect (nervous before fights/the Volcanic Ash fiasco etc). Not a slight on him, when it comes to crunch time Froch is there. But as you say facing a lesser opponent may cause him to struggle.

He once spoke before the Super Six, maybe even before the Taylor fight about wanting to fight away from Nottingham as he struggles to get up for fights at home. He lives for the adrenaline and you could see him back at home in a fight where if he lost he'd be stranded in the SMW sea he pounded Bootay into submission so to speak .

I think even facing the South African lad if it was many other world champions you'd think it's a decent test but Froch has set such a high benchmark in standards that a drop down to face a prospect is looked at as a soft fight.

Throughout history there are cases of boxer's taking a fight lightly, Big Lennox being a prime example, Froch's mentality could work against him, he sometimes make's fights harder than they should be, its brilliant to watch but dosn't do him any favours, he also has a tendency to totally ignore what The Kracken tell's him between round's.

Yep very true Bill and yep he does, TBH McCracken may of got to close to Froch and become to good of friends. Froch sometimes needs a trip up to wake him up it seems. McCracken gives him good advice and boy he cares about Carl you can see he clearly invests energy and friendship into his work but Rob last time out cracked the whip.

Watching the BTR show it's the reason i started to believe again cos i was worrying about the Bute fight but after sessing it i thought 'Carl can do this, McCrackens got this on lock i could tell he knew Bute was fragile. But the sessions i saw on there Rob was drilling him, a mistake or a piece of slackness was met by a stern word or two.

Rob needs to continue that, Froch is his own worst enemy at times..

If that's the case then we can rule out Bika.

All scenarios seem to point to Pavlik.

Will be a better fight than some claim.

Froch likes a brawl as does Kelly, he struggles with tricky fighters.

Carl Froch should call out Tony Bellew.
