Pavlik hasn't impressed me since Taylor 1, but he's still a name to have on your cv.

Expect the "pavlik was shot" brigade to be out in force, post fight

 

Hopefully it is Pavlik as well wouldn't mind Degale or Groves either though .

James DeGale would be good imo. I'm pretty sure it would generate interest, and it would mean that Froch faced someone from the "new crop" of British super-middleweights.

 

DeGale won't spar Froch, let alone fight him.

Never mind calling Pavlik shot post fight, Im saying now Pavlik is shot. He doesnt live the life and it has caught up with him. Froch will destroy him similar to the Bute beat down.

 

Not the worst fight out there for him for sure, but more flattering to his resume than reality suggest. Everyone remembers Pavlik for the Taylor fight but in honesty hes not a shadow of the hungry fighter that showed that night. Froch will hurt him in a war.
