That excuse may be poor as Reid apparently wouldnt fight Calzaghe when he was WBC champ

Carl is making a valid point though DeGale never got a rematch and that was a razor tight decision that could has gone either way. That fight is the greatest thing that ever happened to Groves and he should be thanking the referee instead of insulting him. Groves showed that he his a world class boxer by outboxing Froch but the fight was getting away from him as they got near the championship rounds. I think it was the round 8 where Groves completely turns his back to Froch i sign that he wasnt enjoying how thing were going and was starting to take a battering. The fight was stopped early but im 100 percent confident that Groves would have been knocked out and more than likely in brutal fashion. The referee made sure he didnt suffer a career destroying ko and he also had the excuse that he could have kept going and wasnt hurt. He has also won over so many fans with his great display, i think fans arent happy that we didnt get a conclusive ending but Groves was going to get knocked out, i also think the Mago vs Perez fight had a bearing in the refs decision as i dont think any referee wants to be known as the guy who left it go on to long

Yes, Froch got hurt and was saved by his referee. Froch is afraid to fight Groves and he never will fight him again...........

 

Carl Froch is behaving like a coward something I never thought I would have to say about him. The fight with Groves showed that Groves is much better than him and a rematch would not go past 6 rounds as Groves will stop him. If Froch thinks he really won their fight then I feel sorry for him.

 

Considering that Froch has made a big deal out of being the man Calzaghe wasn't - being the guy who fights every big name of his era and takes any challenge - then the last thing Froch should be doing is trying to justify not having a rematch with Groves because Calzaghe didn't rematch Reid or Hopkins.

 

I'm starting to dislike Froch. Every single word he uttered ever since the Groves fight was a load of bullsh!t. I didn't even consider the outcome a robbery because Groves was about to get stopped anyway but damn, Froch sure wants none of him any more.

Froch doesn't "owe" anybody in the world of boxing anything.

 

After all the cr@p he talked during the pre fight, now he runs away from a rematch, disgraceful.

 

You have to live with your decisions. If Froch decides not to rematch Groves then he can take the criticism that comes with that.

 

Has anyone seen Froch's rattle? I think he dropped it.

 

Froch should give Groves a rematch otherwise his stocks will drop seriously.
