Difference between a thin decision which could have gone either way (personally I agreed with the decision) and a fight where Groves was clearly winning, had Froch rocked numerous times only for the ref to make a balls up.

Groves and Degale will have there day again no doubt about it.

Froch should honour the words he spoke after the fight and give the rematch. Groves was bossing the fight and it is certainly unfinished business.

Just watched the entire fight for the first time. Groves beat Froch pillar to post. Embarrassing for Froch. More embarrassing was the stoppage. Not sure who lined the pockets of the ref, but that was inexcusable, one of the top 5 worst stoppages I've ever seen

    What about Chavez Jr????
    :think

IMO, that's just as tough a fight as Groves.......but it'll make Froch probably twice the $$$$, and even more than Ward or Kessler.:think

Ward schooled Froch once, he'll do it twice. There is no point in a rematch, Froch will be once again outclassed and maybe even stopped this time. A rematch against Groves makes the most sense, both financially and in terms of rivalry.

Especially financially. I bet there is now more UK interest re: PPV to see a Groves rematch than a Ward rematch. :think

I can see why Froch isnt taking the rematch right now.

Hes not had his day in the spotlight considering his Resume, and he wants some high profile fights.

Groves will always be there, so he can let that fight build up further, probably take 2 or 3 fights in the U.S for hopefully bigger money, then take Groves when it suits him.

Carl could be 50 with no legs and Groves would still take the rematch.

Groves will always be there, the other potential big fights will not, especially if he rematches Groves and loses.

People need to think about it from Carls perspective, and not just as a fan who wants to see another good fight.

And dont get me wrong, i would LOVE to see the rematch

That would have been a bit of a hard thing to do. Froch was tied with the S6 and Dirrell dropped out and has not been around much to create a rematch

Its a totally different scenario, there was more of an understanding that theyd meet again down the line, froch is about to have his last fight most likely
