Pascal is very wide and dont have very good movements, i dont think its a very good move from Froch. Taylor is much sharper but maybe not as strong as Pascal. Taylor will surely outbox Froch, something Pascal has not been able to do.
Smart move on Pascal's part, as he has stated he wants a rematch at some point, so this will let him get more ring time with the man he hopes to beat. Not so smart on Froch's part IMO; yes Pascal is probably a decent sparring partner, but not in preparation for Taylor, who is a sharper, more disciplined fighter who actually uses a jab and shows some defense. Plus Froch has already met Pascal in the ring; I don't know how he will benefit developmentally by sparring someone he's been 12 rounds with.
Yeah. I just don't understand it unless they are thinking Pascal has speed. But if he knew how to use it like Taylor, he would be fighting Taylor, not sparring with Froch.
