Really looking forward to this one. I think Froch will do it. I can't see him getting stopped to be honest, his chin is made of granite. Will be very close though.

Mr Dirrell laid out his own prediction
"I think Abraham will be on his A-game and so will Froch, but Abraham, the stronger and more defensive man, will win," Dirrell said.

Kind of funny quote from a guy who was beaten by Froch but who was ahead on points in his fight against AA before his Oscar nominee faint.

Well he is right about Abraham's defence being stronger.

This is in my view a flip a coin fight, to see who wins.

I wouldn't want to put money on either of them. I am though expecting a great fight. Now I have said this, it will probably stink

Carl Froch, 33, said: “One man like Audley Harrison, who has conned people for 10 years and was talking about his destiny, shouldn’t be allowed to ruin boxing. Everyone got roped in by his sales tactics, but surely you know what you are going to get with Audley.
I can do boxing a favour. Look at my last few fights and how exciting they have all been."

“This fight will be a better spectacle for fans. With me, you are guaranteed someone turning up who gives it their heart and soul and who will be trying to win.

“Abraham is the same. He doesn’t want to lose and means business.

“It is his first world title shot at super-middleweight so he is going to come and fight to get that belt. It is going to be great and exciting for British boxing and good for the sport.

“David Haye phoned me when he was driving back to London after the fight. He gave me a call and was laughing away.
“He said, ‘Why isn’t there an Audley Harrison at my weight?’ I said that I am not a lucky so-and-so like him!”

Froch, meanwhile, claims that the punching power of German-based Armenian Abraham is overrated.

‘King Arthur’ has KO’d 25 of his 31 victims, but Froch is not concerned.
“I think his power is overrated, especially at super-middleweight,” said Froch.

This is the fight Ive been looking forward to most since the supersix was announced. And its finally here. Katsidis - Marquez afterwards too. No bull**** hype needed to sell these ****er.

For what its worth I think this will be a classic. Froch picking up an early points lead before turning into a war in the middle rounds. Froch on a very close points decision

I have a feeling that Froch will change his mind about Abraham's power. I can see Froch getting decked and possibly stopped in this one.

Froch's main weakness is his defense and Abraham is the man to fatally expose that weakness with his accuracy and power - he's arguably the hardest hitter in boxing pound for pound. Froch will find this out.

I agree that his fight is unmissable, and will be everything that Haye - Harrison wasn't. A genuine contest between 2 hungry, hard hitting warriors.

Seen Froch recently in training and he looks in great shape, I think he will be a little bit too big and strong for Abraham and should be able to discourage Abraham from cutting the ring down with that plodding forward high held guard routine which he does so well. Trick is to try too avoid a slugfest with him but even if the two go toe to toe I think Frcoh as a natural super middle has the edge. Be a great fight though!
