i tink i am one of the few to believe that abrahams style will suit froch and that he will knock him out! i tink that his chin will hold up to abrahams power shots and that abrahams low work rate will allow froch to unload a bit more than in recent fights and thus take control! thoughts?
This is a tough one to call. Carl will be far the strongest AA has ever fought. Froch has extremely long reach. AA doesn't work much and when he comes out in spurts he will have a looong way to get even close to Froch. On the other hand, IF AA can get close and fire a spurt he could hit Carl, and then what would happen? Usually we would think Carl goes down because AA is so explosive, but Froch has a really good chin and recuperates very well as we saw against Kessler. Hard to predict. I think I would go with Froch, because if he fights smart and is more active than he was against Kessler - then he may be able to keep AA from doing much and perhaps even stopping AA.
It will be entertaining! But i think Froch can cause AA problems with his reach. On the other hand if AA can get inside anything can happend Honestly i dont think anyone in Super-6 can stop AA, but he can be outboxed. If Froch is foolish enough to go for a KO.. He will probably get flattered himself
its funny how we forgot JT knocked froch down (clearly) and direll knocked AA down more of him bein off balance.. yet froch is said to have a great chin? i think AA find carlita and drops him somewhere round the 8th :yep
Abraham by KO. C'mon - you need skills to avoid Abraham or to be able to penetrate that shell defense. Froch doesn't have those skils at all. He's got a huge heart, a good punch, and a great chin, but he's a blunt instrument. Problem is, Abraham is a blunter instrument. He even knocked down a tiring Dirrell in the 10th, remember (before he lost his brain), because he'd started to wear him out. That's what Abraham does, and he'd do it to Froch. (Although against Dirrell, it meant wearing him out by stopping a lot of punches with his face).
Froch UD 119-109 or late TKO. This bout willi be like Klitschko-Arreola. No chances for Abraham. He is too primitive.
I voted for AA by KO but I cant believe how people continue to underrate Froch. Froch will be a tough fight for ANYBODY at 168, he has already proven that several times over. However, Froch has been hit flush many times by every elite fighter he has faced and AA is not only a hard puncher, the hardest puncher Froch has ever faced in fact, but he is extremely accurate. AA wont KO Froch with one punch but over the course of 12 rounds, Froch is going to eat too many hard shots from this vicious puncher causing either the ref or Froch's corner to stop the fight.
If Abraham just catches punches without fighting he can't win, but if Abraham fights he could knock Froch out. Froch is underrated though.
Froch has long arms i'd like to see how AA gets close cuz kessler had a hell of a time. but i think this will turn into a slugfest. really anyones fight. just depends on who has the better chin
Abrahams also the smaller man by a distance and doesn't like a rough fight, alot of people could look very foolish after this fight. I could see Abraham KOing Froch but if he doesn't this fight is going to be very one sided in Frochs favour, i'll go with Froch by late KO, maybe Abraham quits on his stool in the 11th.
getting knocked down does not really measure your chin, it is when you don't get back up and keep fighting that does it. AA had his jaw broken in a fight - does that mean he has a weak chin?
I'm leaning more and more toward Froch on this one. However, unless I see tape of him sparring with his left hand guarding his chin instead of his knee cap I won't come out and pick him.
AA is all wrong for Froch, even with all his heart and desire to win, none of that matters when he is spark out on the canvas.
