It says he has two opportunites to re-stablish himself as a world champion so you'd expect the belt to be on the line in both fights. Seems a bit odd to agree to two fights now though, if Bute wins the first clearly then where is the justification for the second?

I think it's just a standard contract with a rematch clause. It's been blown out of proportion.

What other fight is there for Froch?

Does he deserve an easier fight? Yes.

Does he want an easier fight? No.

Don't criticise the guy for wanting to keep fighting the best.

I just hope he learns to fight with his guard up for this fight, otherwise it might not end well.

Does he need an easier fight? Yes. He took a pretty comprehensive beating on Saturday. he needs a long rest.

Carl himself has said he can't get motivated for easy fights so comin off a loss and fighting a guy like bute will really fire him up! If he loses to bute I'd like to see him hang em up. Nothing to prove and only lost to the best

it was the roundabout way i read it...i'm thick as **** at times, even surprise myself..

so...like you say..if a champion beats a challenger in a defence easily..how can he justify making the same fight again ?....and if the first fight goes close is it inviting the 'set up' conspiracy theorists ?

Should be a great fight but not so sure why theyve made it a 2 fight deal apart from money which seems to be the reason behind most things not just in boxing but in sport in general

I'd not be signing up to this two fight bollocks unless it was home first.

Or some massive clauses that say Bute only gets paid anything after the second fight.

Bute wont fight a return leg.
