I was having this argument watching a youtube vid of the fight about the refs handling of it.I`m sure i`m i right to say despite Hearn jumping in to the ring at the end he wouldn`t of got Froch A DQ.The ref stopped Frochs attack,as good as a stoppage to any observer but then amazingly starts giving Bute a count. In this situation Hearn still didn`t do anything wrong jumping in the ring.

That was just the most desperate of Brit haters or Bute fans.

Any reasonable Bute fan or boxing fan didn't really give a ****, the fight was over.

If Hearn didn't do anything wrong jumping in the ring than we all should do it at the rematch. No ? Cuz it's Ok.

Hearn did something wrong. He should have been fined, but he wasn't part of Froch's seconds(trainers, cutman etc) team so he wasn't in danger of DQ-ing Froch.

Exactly my point, anyone with any kind of common sense didn't see anything wrong.

Its irrelevant going on about this as Froch won the fight good enough but that ref was acting as though he was stoned:silly, stopping Frochs attack to give Bute a count and then Butes trainers telling him to stop it.If Bute fell give him the count yes but Bute didn`t fall so why the count? If he was giving an 8 count, there`s no rule in the IBF that allows the 8 count. That ref lost the plot imo.

Bute's trainer was making his way into the ring at that moment, therefore it was over anyways...

The trainer actually said afterwards that he regretted not telling the ref to stop the fight before that last series of power punches.

I believe it was brought up because of the Kirkland vs Molina situation earlier, in wich Molina got DQ'd for the same thing.
Wich was ridiculous of course, and only done because Kirkland was down on the scorecards, and would probably lose if Molina made it to the final bell.

i remember thinking about that when i saw it live

no i dont think he shoulda been DQ'd, but he should have known better, because he could have been DQ'd and why run the chance of ruining something like that

in the guys defense it really did look like the ref called it
