Froch v Bute - Sky Box Office becoming a possibility!!!

    Can I ask you a serious question....

    What do you actually get out of making **** threads like these?

    Wouldn't be so bad if you actually switched it up once in a while, but nearly everything is TV related.

    I work for Sky in the offices and get to her a bit about whats going on like West ham v Middlesbrough and tuesday 20th of March is live on Sky :) Rumours round the buidling is that sky are looking to do this as a PPV!!!

    Bute only draws in Quebec as a PPV entity.Elsewhere in Canada he is basically unknown and his results are not even posted in the Toronto papers.
    Not being from the UK,my question is -is Froch a big name and a PPV attraction in the UK,or just a local star in Nottingham?Seems to me both are only local draws.

    Boo-****in-hoo. French speaking Romanian doesn't draw outside Quebec. No **** Sherlock. :lol:

    If 'local draw' entails an entire province, sure, he is. Peeps from QC will be able to go to a CAS pub and watch that **** live for free. :yep

    He's still a much bigger draw than Ward & Dirrell. :good


    As for Froch, he's regularly appearing on Sky so my guess is that they can crank the hype for this fight enough for it to attempt the PPV route.

    Froch isnt just a "local star", but hes certainly not gonna pull ina huge amount of PPV buys.
