Fury got floored twice by Wilder, most people agree he won the fight. And I said Trout ARGUABLY won. Decision could have gone either way.

50/50 fight. I wouldn't argue with anyone picking either fighter. One thing's for sure though, this will be action packed as hell.

Froch would be out finessed at times but he has a level of grit, determination and will canelo has never seen before. I think he hurts canelo a few times but loses on the scorecards in a close fight and never given a rematch.

Froch advantages: Size, reach, ENGINE, proven power at 168lbs, proven chin at 168lb against big punchers
Canelo advantages: Speed, defensive skill, combos, injections, judges

I think the biggest advantage Froch has is his engine over twelve rounds. Canelo cannot work like Froch for 12, even with his PEDs. This means Froch could well overwhelm Canelo across the stretch. Froch might not be able to get the TKO/KO but I could see him winning on points in a fair arena. There is no way Canelo loses most rounds but somehow KO's Froch. The mongs who think Canelo hits harder than Groves/Kessler, good gracious me. Murray tells us that Groves' RH is more powerful than GGG's, and Froch ate a dozen or more. GGG hits harder than Canelo. Canelo is going to do some flashy flash in the fight, but over twelve he'll end up being swarmed and bashed up by Froch, who'll also be happy to take some to give some.

Imagine Froch v the kovalev that canelo beat. Would be a Lucian Bute-esk beat down.

froch would be fully up for this mega fight, clear UD v canelo

Froch beats any version of Kovalev for my money. Too much chin, too much gastank, too much toughness.

Canelo's head movement and fast counters gets Froch. May very well stop him.

Oh boy is Alvarez in trouble in this one ! Froch has all the physical advantages of course but consider the styles. Alvarez will have to close the range so will have to throw punches on the way in which is what Carl thrives on. Canelo can't go backwards because Froch will just fill him in with jabs. If Alvarez lands, he still can't hurt Froch and Carl can absolutely hurt any Super Middle.
Canelo has the guts to stick it through to the last bell but I reckon he would get battered.

Groves is as skilled as Cotto? Eh... not imo.

And the Lara n Trout fights were completely different chapters of Canelos career... hes improved plenty since then.

Groves is certainly a lot bigger and a harder puncher than Cotto.

Maybe you’re right, we’ll see what happens in the BJS fight, if Canelo’s the same fighter from the Lara/Trout fights then BJS could beat him imo (if it happens)
