Froch V Cleverly

Froch has only come up short against elite fighters.
Cleverly is average. Easy fight for Froch.

 

I probably sound ridiculous here, but i really think clev can win this. Froch is my favourite fighter with nathan a close second. Clev looks like he has a world class work rate and can take a punch aswell.

I really thought he took a night off tonight as it was so easy, and he can raise his game a lot higher. Probably not a popular opinion on here but i really beleive Clev could win this through work rate

 

Froch would box his head off, perhaps knocking him out in the late rounds.

 

frotch would walk thro anything clev has to offer and drag him into a war clev wouldnt handle it and i see frotch stoppin him in about 8 clev has limited skills not alot of power the only thing he has going for him is his work rate and pretty fast hands but still no were near as quick as andre ward, frotch would do a job on clev

 

The fight will never happen, Fwank wouldn't let Cleverly anywhere near Froch, expect years of ****, never been stopped opponents and maybe Enzo.

 

after last nights fight it is plain as day to me theat clev has no power whatsoever.. The only chance he would have of beating froch is if he outboxed him at range, something cleverly wont do cos he loves a brawl.. He brawls with froch and he looses.

 

I'd fancy Froch to win this. I doubt it gets made though.

I've never seen such an inept cornerman in all my life.

That includes those dodgy looking blokes that come over with Africans and Eastern Europeans.

There's been lots of talk from the Froch camp about his walking around weight, and that its really close to his fighting weight.

I really don't think he'd be effective at LHW at all.

I can't see a KO for Froch either. Fair enough he's been fighting at world class/elite level for a long time but he hasn't stopped anyone since Taylor. Its fair to say that Clev's chin is far superior to Taylor's.

I really think Clev could outwork him but it would definitely be an excellent fight. Lets be real though - its not happening until Froch is well on the slide; when it will be a final payday for him (good for Hearn) and less risk for Clev (good for W@rren)

 

Its a good fight, i dont think Cleverley gets smashed at all. He'll need a decent win over a world class opoenent before anyone takes this fight seriously though. A win over Cloud would do that.

 

I strongly believe Cleverly would win this fight. I'm confident this is one where most of the best analytical posters would pick Froch and get it wrong.
