I know compubox numbers and punch stats are common, but Data Boxing Stats... is that a competing company or something? Anyway punch stats can actually help determine the real winner, but at the end of the day it´s the judges who need to get it right. If you have good, objective punching statistics it can certainly help in describing the action, but it's impossible to try and count punches 100% without somekind of technology and that's why the judges saw diffirent things in the AD vs Froch fight. Anyway I don't think the fight was as bad as many thinks... and I don't think the stats on boxrec are correct per se, and these punch stats are very debatable to say the least.
Who said anything about proof? All i said as you quoted was 'the stats back up what I saw.' And you know what yeah fighters fans do cheer everytime their fighters through, however Froch fans also go 'ooooh' everytime the opponent throws as we are all fully aware he does get clipped. Watch the fight again and instead of looking at how many fresh air shots froch threw, have a look at how many Dirrell landed (not on the gloves and the shoulders).
Cobbler, cobble together another fantasy. THere's no way in Hades that Froch outlanded Dirrell by nearly fifty punches.
Well, then you should choose your information more carefully, mate. It's fairly obvious the you have an agenda when it comes to conveyance of information, so quit playing coy. I'm fairly certain, if I were so inclined, that I could go out and locate "information" that said Dirrell outlanded Froch by fifty or more punches. And when you consider that 90 percent of the respondents to your post seem to disagree with you, it shouldn't be hard to find.
These stats are on the boxrec page. No idea about the company, accuracy, reputation, etc. I'm sure you could find opposing ones, or just use the made up ones on youtube that had Froch landing about 20 punches and gave Dirrell a 50%+ accuracy rate. I posted them because no-one else had yet done, my 'agenda' was to laugh at all the people who have been demanding punch stats (and claiming that they were being witheld as part of the conspiracy :rofl) when some were released that didn't match their view. A simple, yet rewarding agenda, I'm sure you'll agree.
There was a lot of body work by Froch clearly helping his numbers out a lot. Very close fight. . .Froch was the aggressor, Froch was the champ. . .the nod goes to the champ. . .as it should be. If Dirrell had been champ he might have gotten the nod and the SD but not being the challenger and def not in Nottingham.
You know its bull**** when one of the judges gave Froch 6 rounds in a row. I didnt remember him winning 4 in a row.
There is a difference between winning a fight and deserving it.Dirrell won it,had he got the decision officially he wouldn`t of deserved it.If he got that belt what then would be said about him? What is said right now, that he is a chicken and a moaning *******.Is that enough about this fight or is that it, cos i`m not saying anymore about it.
