This has just started. It won't get Froch the groundswell of support he needs. PS. Sorry if this has been posted before, I just thought, better safe than sorry.
Dutch and Dillon have just slapped hands on Predator, so I think I will have to forego the pleasures of the barnburner that was Froch v Dirrell.
I forgot how many times thaxton said that dirrell was 'very fast'... I really hope thaxton doesn't commentate again...I like thaxton, but not as a commentator
On re-watching, Dirrell didn't box anywhere near as well as I remember him doing after I'd had a few beers at 3 in the morning!!
Interesting because I'm remembering it the opposite way! On pissed fight night viewing I had Froch winning by 2 rounds. Tonight, sober, I've got Dirrell two up going into the final round...
Dirrel doesn't look great here at all. Not saying he hasn't won some rounds but for the likes of Greg to be saying he outclassed the guy is a ****ing joke. Greg text me after the 7th saying he had Dirrell up 6-1. Now I know I was pretty pissed but watching it again says to me Greg is a moron. Dirrel ran like **** and watching on TV changes nothing for me. **** fight spoiled by him running Froch's lack of offensive variation and speed, and Dirrels holding
I had Dirrell winning by 2 on the night but I don't think he did enough re-watching it. **** fight though and a real bugger to score.
No offence taken Buddy. I agree that Froch should have done much better. He was clueless about handling a fast elusive boxer. Dirrell could have manned-up and fought. He may well have won. Seeing it again semi-sober puts a different spin on it.
Re-watching Froch's post fight interview, after Dirrell was very respectul and holding Froch's hand and all that, Froch seems like a right wanker.
