Well isn't GGG getting gloriously overrated after gutting his green opponent on a great night of gratuitous gamesmanship?

Beating Proksa tells us nothing about his chances higher up the line.

Well it was his first decent test against a game opponent which he passed with flying colours. Does it tell us whether he'd beat martinez or any of the elite at MW? No. Does it tell us whether hes more than just a professional can crusher? Yes.

I think Golovkin is very special but as of today It would be hard to not pick Froch.
I think he takes Golovkins punches and in fact ends up testing Golovkins heart more the Froch's chin gets tested

He looks a solid talent, but Proksa isn't a beast. Neither was Pirog, who is best known for starching an overrated prospect. Even if that fight had happened, there would be questions.

But to even give him a chance against a seasoned, tricky guy like Froch right now is crazy.

Im sorry but Golovkin would get outmanned versus Froch he isnt big enough for Froch he hits hard but he is willing to take a shot to give his own. Thats where his downfall would be. Somebody with a decent defence/chin who is strong and can land his own will give Golovkin trouble.

Anybody that stands in mid range and engages is perfectly suited for Froch. I would see a few competitive rounds before Froch starts bullying him. Maybe a late stoppage.

I dont think its that crazy a fight. Froch will have real trouble with anyone who is prepared to step inside his reach and place their front foot between his legs because he cant fight on the inside at all, its like his arms are too long. Now getting inside without getting busted up by those clubbing shots may be easier said than done but I think Golovkin has the moves to make a fight of it.
