Gotta give it to the Brits. They turn out in droves to watch D, C, & B level fighters. Just imagine what the numbers would be if England could ever produce an A level champion.

I will be there, the atmosphere in that arena is going to be immense. 80k people watching to fighters going at it, you dont get that in the states to often and certainly don't get stadiums full for any fighter.

Calling Froch a B level fighter is a touch harsh never elite I agree but he was / is a A- level fighter and has been top 5 in his division for a long time now fighting the best available all the time. Compare that to Ward small crowds, small purse, boring fights crap opposition (post super 6)

Ward is the better fighter I agree I know who i would rather pay to watch, Ward could make 10 million plus coming to the UK to fight Froch honestly don't see why he has not forced the issue, either a coward or does not back his skills without his own ref and judges.

Where are you getting your figures from?

Even if the fight sells 1 million PPV's in the UK which is doubtful, thats £15 million pounds($25 million) in total PPV revenue and two thirds of that will go to Sky. So the remaining £5 million will need to be split between the promoter, Froch and Groves.

Thrre's no guarantee it will be a 80,000 sell out, i'll be surprised if they do more then 60,000 and that's only if they have a lot of cheap seats at £20 and £30.

60,000 seats at an average of £100 a seat is: £6,000,000.

Again that will be split between stadium costs, promoter, Froch and Groves.

Overseas television rights will bring in around $5 million which will be split between Sky, Promoter, Froch and Groves.

So total revenue the fight generates will be around $40 milllion dollars but over half of that will go towards costs and distributors so you're left with around $18 milllion that will get split between Promoter, Froch and Groves.

I think Froch will end up making around $8 million dollars(£5 million pounds) and Groves around $5 million dollars(£3 million pounds).

For the stadium money its more like a £70 average and it will sell out thats 5.6 million

PPV could do a million easy lot of appetite for this fight from the casuals lot of bad blood between the fighters people lap that up.

And no way are Sky taking 2/3rds of the revenue more like a third.

    5.6 + 2 + 15 = 22.6 million £

    Sky cerca 10 million

12.6 million between the fighters and promtion 2 milGroves 7 million Froch or about 12 million $

    Joe Slappy-White Calzaghe?

Yeah, he's one of those B class fighter I was talking bout. He be up B class Kessler, B Class Lacy and an old punch drunk Jones.
LOL, you would have been better off to try to claim half of Lennox Lewis Vs FW's hype machine Calzaghe

    LOL! You KNOW why.
    It's called, English Referee'ing.

Ward, or any other elite fighter fear coming to the UK, being victim of bad ref'ing, while taking 100 unpenalized rabbit punches in the process. :yep

Only fighters needing cash really badly like Jones, Holyfield or Pac would agree to take a fight in the UK, Germany or Russia.

The Andre Ward fanboys can't get their heads around these figures of tickets being sold out since they used to half empty 2000 seat venues in Jokeland.

Calzaghe - Kessler, Hatton - Lazcano, Benn - Eubank II, probably sold more tickets than Andre Ward sold in his entire professional career.

You are correct that there is big money to be made fighting in front of a large European crowd, but Head, remember there was a competition where every original member fought away in a foreign country at some point, except for Ward. He seems to have a good team that have probably looked into things and possibly noted that American and American based SMWs just dont seem to be able to win world title fights when they enter Europe.
