That would mean no event is ever sold out in history. If you opened a shop and sold 500 items. Regardless of whether those people sold those items on you have still sold out! Matchroom sold 19700 tickets in 11 minutes fact. There are no more tickets left through official retailers fact. SOLD OUT fact.

No it doesnt because if one branch is sold out you go to another branch and there are some in stock.

So the official retailers sold out, you go to many ticketing sites and there tickets available....they are not sold out

No worries for me or Matchroom, means I should be able to pick up a cheap ticket on the day outside at about half 9 after all the crap, and it means Matchroom have been paid in full. The only person missing out is the touts.

The definition of an event selling out is the original retailer selling all the tickets. Matchroom sold all the tickets in 11 minutes therefore its sold out, I know people have already explained to you and you're now just trolling but I thought I'd also jump in.

No thats your opinion, not an actual definition.

If you tell someone an event is sold out they will think 'oh there are no more tickets left'. This is not the case.

    3rd PARTY SITES.

    THEY are not offical retailers.

    They are glorified touts!

What is so ****ing hard to understand!

This happens are every single big event throughout the world.

THE only offical source of tickets is sold out, they have been paid in full.

Everything else is being bought at your own peril and Ive work in this long enough to know more often than not, these people get done who buy from 3rd party NON OFFICAL sellers.

Can you buy tickets from Official 1st party vendors? No. Have Matchroom still got tickets available? No. Are all these tickets you speak of only available through tout sites at inflated prices? Yes. Seems pretty conclusive to me that the event has sold out. :think

All the original tickets have gone through a sale. The Arena may not be full but it will still be SOLD out.

Look at Old Trafford week in week out, sell outs most weeks, but you could spot a couple thousand empty seats for every game. Are these not sold out in your eyes because some ****ney can't be arsed mooching up to Manchester to use his season ticket, or because a tout couldn't shift a few tickets? Of course not, the tickets have been sold, if people choose not to turn up, or try and resell their tickets that is notthe responsibility of Matchroom in this instance or Man U in my example.

Attendence and Sales will never be one and the same, it's not everyone elses fault if you fail to distinguish between the two of them.

tickets are always available for any sporting function or concert through touts and 3rd party sites, always.

    A) if we go by your logic, nothing has even been sold out, ever.
    B) Who says tickets sold by 3rd party sites are real and not counterfeit? Ive seen enough of this over the years.
