I think Groves has improved way more than Degale has.

To me Degale is still fighting the same way he did in his first 5 Pro fights.

A clean well timed punch from groves has enough on it to hurt Froch.

However I suspect they will adopt more of a Degale fight type approach.

Body attack is key in beating Froch as is beating him to the pumch with a jab. Froch is incredibly difficult to time as he has a very weird off putting rhythm. those that have successfully dealt with beating him to the punch need to then counter when froch lunges in.

He will always lunge if he cannot get his jab etc off. Groves just need to use his feet to get out of there. and a crisp jab.

Like I say I favour Froch at the moment but Groves has the tools and will likelly have a very good gameplan.

will be a good fight, groves would stand a much better chance next year though.. carl will stop him late imo.. When you look at groves opponent level.. it ain't that good.. I'd say at the min stick groves in with stieglitz or bika.. but he won't give up the mandatory ..

Groves needs another year tewwey. I see Froch beating groves like he did Bute, he will pounce hurt him then finish him... I put my house on it.. Groves needs more time and it doesn't help that Froch's chin is made of solid steel because when groves is landing flush shots and froch is eating them, it will put groves in a uncomfortable position..

Too soon but we'll get an honest effort from Ugly Kid. (who funny enough in this particular match-up is actually the relatively handsome one, compared with Marty Feldman)

Maybe he does but thats not Adam Booth style is? Haye needed more time before facing Carl Thompson.

Dark Lord will only let it happen if he honeslty thinks George can beat Froch. maybe saw something in sparring etc that he thinks can work for them.

too soon imo though. year down the line and george wins.

Big fan of Groves & followed him for a good few years now, but if this fight happens now it'll be too early.

Let him develop and continue to progress over the next 12/18 months then look at taking this fight, Froch will be further on in age and Groves could catch him on the slide.

Too big of a step up, Froch would beat the crap out of him.

Don't underestimate how well Groves can place his power shots, he's got enough to hurt Froch mos def.

You'd have to worry about GG's vulnerability though, you'd fancy Froch to stop him when he puts the heat on.

This is now rumoured to be happening next year probably not to over saturate the PPV market this Autumn.

I'm sorry but this definitely isn't a PPV fight. Neither was Kessler however I didn't begrudge Froch that as he deserved a pay day. If Eddie manipulates this into a PPV then he's a **** and any faith in him hs been severely misplaced.
