If Hopkins is still holding back the ageing process!

    Hopkins would beat Froch!

Styles make fights, this is what you need to understand. Carl Froch does nothing that would bothered a fully fit fountain of youth Bernard Hopkins.

Bernard Hopkins has only EVER had trouble with big athletic fighters with above average ring IQ.

Carl Froch is a not a athletic fighter with above average ring IQ. It's a big mistake if you go into a fight against Bernard Hopkins, where Hopkins has the advantage of being the better athlete, in terms of Speed, Co-ordination/motor skills, Foot Speed..............

When you give Hopkins these advantages, you are completely ****ed, because he is of a higher intellect. The Pavlik & Trinidad fights, these two fights where built up as his most challenging fights before they happened. But technically they where both a walk in the park, and they where always going to be a walk in the park.

"Hopkins would beat Froch, just like Ward did! Maybe even easier"....

The best football players can see a play in its initial stages and anticipate 3-4 shots ahead, that's why some strikers are always in the right position! are always their to capitalize. A boxer like Floyd Mayweather or Bernard Hopkins, pretty much know at times what their opponents are going to do, they anticipate attacks, and recognise rhythm.........at there best! inside of the ring this is what they are trying to do mentally!

Bernard Hopkins stated that every fighter has a rhythm, great boxers recognised this, and can anticipate moves and attacks, and what this does..? It makes you appear faster physically.

Because you are not just reacting to the action, you are not just seeing a punch and moving out of the way.

You are anticipating ****, so you are positioning yourself knowing that a jab is coming, a back hand is coming, he's going to throw that combination again etc....

Only genius boxers have this ability this extra sense, beyond..........."sight, hearing, smell".......

You cannot afford to be slow against Bernard Hopkins, because his mind and vision is already faster than present time. Hopkins finds it most challenging against athletic fighters with above average ring IQ's, because it's harder for him to anticipate attacks, make all these calculations in his head and..? Counter or disrupt the action.

In his last fight against Chad Dawson i was very impressed with Bernard Hopkins, he was only beaten on workrate and that's it. On a technical level, he still displayed immense skills and i think he could of made the fight closer but..? He let himself down, i feel he could of upped his workrate.

Carl Froch does nothing that would bother a in form Bernard Hopkins, and Carl Froch is slow as ****! Thats bad news up against Hopkins.

    Hopkins would shut Froch down.

Could imagine it being a mirror image of Hopkins v Pavlik.

Carl Froch is not as bad as Pavlik

Hopkins would win but Froch wouldn't be shut out

Froch has never claimed to be a LHW so this fight would have to be at 168. If that's the case Froch would beat him at this stage.

Workrate, stamina and heart in addition to his underrated boxing skills would be enough to get past this deceptive Hopkins.

Froch can't fight on the inside.

You'd have to favour Bernard in this one.

Unless Froch does the one thing that Hopkins opponents never seem to be able to do and land the jab regularly he'd be in bother.
