No one wants to see this. Not yet anyway. Now that Joe has gone Kessler could beat Froch and reassume lineage as WBC/WBA champ. Like Barry basically told Mick, keep Froch the **** away from Kessler. Taylor has holes that could be exploited but Kessler would tear Froch up bar a lucky punch.

People have issues if they even consider this close.

Beating Jean Pascal was a good achievement, he deserves his credit, but ultimately it was fairly close for long periods. Kessler would have beaten him 12-0, or stopped him.

When Kessler starts taking out elite performers maybe then he deserves this all beating superman tag. As it stands he has had one fight against a genuine top guy and it was not all that competitive - especially after the first few rounds.

NOBODY, is unbeatable especially a boxer who has never beat anyone of real note.

Kessler is the only boxer I have known who, through losing convincingly at his own weight, his stock has shot through the roof!!

"I watched the guy with the tattoo's (Mikkel Kessler) when I was in Las Vegas in April, and he's ordinary."

"He can't fight going back or counter punch."

"If you consciously know range and angles you shouldn't have a problem with this guy."

Thats the key point in this - Jean Pascal

How good was Pascal........a undefeated superbly conditoned athelte who fights in a style of Roy Jones Jnr.

What Pascal does from here will reflect Frochs performance.

Much in the same way that what Keelser does from here will reflect on Calzaghes legacy

Pascal seem good to me............how good hard to say

I think Froch is crude at World level..........as most do

But I think he is a danger to anyone........a guy who brings that much intenstiy into a fight could trouble anyone

Froch has a 3 inch reach advantage, and his own jab doesn't look too bad (when he uses it). It has a bit of pace about it, unlike his other punches.

Who has Kessler to beat to convince you? will a win over Froch proof anything?
Not in my opinion! Froch is if any unproven and after a win over another unproven contender he's the best thing since sliced bread?
Froch would be humiliated against Kessler, slow and no defence, no wonder that Palle said Kessler would come to Nottingham to fight, a day in the field for Kessler.

I don't think anyone in SMW divisoin can stop Froch, they can win a UD but to KO him I doubt, he has great chin, he even didn't react to the punches from Pascal, I know Pascal is the hardest puncher there but still....

I wanted to see Dawson fight Kessler at a catchweight but Kessler turned the offer down...

Kessler fight in SMW, unless it's a big name like Hopkins, and by the way what offer?

He could trouble anyone, but lets be honest only if you have big flaws in the chin or stamina departments. This may be why he has a chance against Taylor. Kessler has never shown anything like that, he's never been down amateur or pro just like Froch. He can fight 12 rounds under intense pressure, as he did against Andrade, and we saw how difficult Bute found that. Froch is lazy, there are no stamina worries. It comes down to the superior boxer, and its Kessler by landslide.

As far Pascal, I think his previous fights and his recognition coming into the fight tell its own story. Everybody expected him to be knocked out by Froch based on his previous showings, where he's been hurt and easily hit.

I'd think Kessler isn't the best fight. It would be in Joe's shadow, whereas Taylor, pavlik etc are some of the mahy guys that Joe didn't fight.

Froch could fight Taylor, it wouldn't be quite as hard (Taylor not as assetive or as strong as Kessler) and it would get the American audience.

If the whole Taylor thing works out for Froch, likewise with Pavlik who has nothing at middle aside from some easy KO victims.

2 middleweights moving up would be a smart move for Froch, a rookie champ albeit a very promising one at the moment. You beat a couple of US names and excite on HBO, then ppl really start coming to you.

Kessler is way too good for Froch. Froch would have a terrible time in there with Kessler as would many other guys at 168.

Froch should do his very best to avoid a Kessler fight, because I really dont even see him being impressive in defeat in such a fight. Lose/lose for mine.

Kessler is revered because he has dominated everybody he has fought no matter what their level. He went even with Joe after 4 and then lost competative but clear rounds. The problem is, few, if any around Mikkels weight can make the same technical adjustments that Joe did.

I would only be worried about Hopkins for Mikkel. Completely wrong for him.

    The rest...let's go :bbb
