Just read an article on the scene saying that the fight is virtually agreed and that both fights will be earning $2 million from the fight.

The 3 venues that are being talked about are the Manchester Arena, O2 Arena and the city ground (Kessler's people don't want the fight in Nottingham though).

Surely this will be on Sky Box Office because otherwise how can this fight make enough money to pay each man $2 million each? I think Matchroom and Sauderland are relying on PPV money.

Eddie and Froch have been referring to PPV for months about this fight so I'd be surprised if it isn't PPV.

Is Froch that well known to the casuals you need to sell it? I guess Sky will put their full hype machine behind it

Don't mind it being PPV if it is, massive fight and hopefully with a good undercard Sky can push it really well, give it the full treatment and the "full treatment" broadcasting wise, I would probably buy it! Rather that than it being on a regular skysports channel with less build-up and lower production expenditure! A big fight deserves a big fight build-up and show.

If it's going to be ppv they need to get Brook, Rees, Bellew on the under card in decent fights as well!

The o2 works for me despite being a totally soulless arena!

Kessler got what he wanted then.... he said show me $2m and I'll come over.

    I think it'll go PPV.

Froch is enough of a name, if they get Bellew on the undercard and perhaps Frampton.... it'll sell very well.

Definitely going to this, missed out on the last two fights for various reasons... don't want to miss another.

To be fair, if any fight is worthy of PPV, this is it.

Huge fight, definately worthy of being PPV and a massive thumbs up if it spells the return of Sky Box Office. Fed up of watching non-HD broadcasts on Primetime which lose signal, not a fan of the commentary either.

I'll be going to this one. Went to see him in Nottingham against Dirrell and even tho the fight sucked, the atmosphere was awesome. Can't imagine how good its gonna be when it's gonna be a tear up like this!

I'm backing Carl for this one. The guy's riding high on confidence and fighting in the UK, tempted to say he'll be stopping Kessler late in a thriller....

$2mil each is a bargain considering what some boxers/match ups usually cost.

I do not want to see PPV and it will hurt the sport. Everyone involved will make their money but this fight is a huge opportunity for Sky to get some real coverage with mainstream fans.

This fight is huge. It's a genuine 50-50 match up with both fighters coming off of knockout wins. The first fight was huge. His opponent is European so expect his fans to travel. Both are tough enough where you can expect a fight, possibly 12 hard rounds and not an early let down ko. It has the makings of a possible trilogy. It has everything.

Sky need to market the be jesus out of it and Matchroom need to give it an incredible undercard that has people watching intently from the moment its on air until the culmination of a possibly historic night!

    I'd prefer the MEN.

It's within driving distance for me and I know my way around Manchester for the pubs and bars before and after.

Cheap digs next to the motorway too.

Hopefully a few of the lads will be up for going.
