Before the Taylor fight I'd maybe have said Kessler by wide UD. Now I'm going to say Kessler b brutal KO.
Kessler is heads and shoulders above everyone else in the division. Jermain Taylor is the only one that competes with him technically, maybe Bute too. JT fought a brilliant first 6 rounds or so, he just could not sustain it and its time to call it quits if he cant sort it out.
Froch has proven his heart, punch and desire. He'd have a definite punchers chance against Kessler who was badly hurt by a Calzaghe bodyshot. Kessler will likely win every round but what happens when Carl lands something big?
Kessler's stamina is not questionable. Technically, Kessler is happy to fight at a slow pace and pick Froch off with one-twos all night. Froch would be reduced to big lunges to get his shots off. It wouldn't even be close. Calzaghe used all of his nous and experience to change the fight against Kessler. Joe had to change the range at which he was standing to get into a position to hit the body. Froch doesn't have that same ring generalship or speed/ability to adapt and change.
I am as big a fan of Froch as it is reasonable to be. Kessler wins this every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Awful style clash for Froch.
:good Calzaghes ability to adapt mid point was pure class. Great rings smarts aswell as natural ability.
Kessler should win easy on points but I can not forget how he was winded badly by feather-fisted Calzaghe so I five Froch a punches chance also.
