Taylor wins every round. Froch is the weakest SMW champion since Christian Sanavia. He's solid, the same calibre as Haussler, Sartison, Tsypko, but Taylor is a class above.

When Froch boxed behind the jab for the last three rounds he looked good. If he can mix it up a bit, keeping his confident low-hand style for certainr ounds, I think he will break Taylor's spirit.

Taylor gave all he could to Pavlik and was disheartened when Pavlik came back surging.

With the bad blood between them, I think Froch would win this fight before the first bell even rang. Taylor won't hurt Froch, and Froch will keep coming back.

However, if Taylor survives, he'll win on points in the States. I have however picked Froch PTS as I think that's how the fight will look. Just see Froch getting robbed to be honest.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Right Taylor has been stopped at 160, pascal has never been stopped and only has one loss to froch at the bigger weight division 168.

So your comment makes no sense :huh :yep:yep

With a few exceptions, all the British guys will vote for Froch and all the Americans will vote for Taylor.

I'm British so I voted for Froch :p

Well, it should be, "All the people that watched Froch's last fight voted for Taylor". :deal

Froch/Pascal was about two windmills trying to get airborne FFS. Technically Froch is a belt holder, but it is more accurate to call him a PLACE HOLDER. The WBC wants JT's earning power in that spot very badly. Title shot without one fight at 168? They threatened him in the first proposed matchup. Gave him an ultimatum to fight for the belt or they would NEVER rank him again and they blinked when JT said no. Decided to call his next fight an eliminator instead. JT is in a very good place. Good for him. The belts are ruining boxing anyhow.

"Taylor calls himself 'Bad Intentions' but if you ask me it should be 'No Intentions' because I don't think he has any intentions of fighting me," said the outspoken Froch."At this rate the only thing he's going to win any time soon is the world hide and seek title. If anyone's seen him lately I'd be very interested to hear about his whereabouts.
"I'm guessing that he's probably at home in bed with his head under the covers waiting until an easier fight comes along.

Froch's promoter, Mick Hennessy also feels there's a reluctance on Taylor's part to step up to the plate.
"I've made a formal $1.6 million offer to Taylor's promoter Lou DiBella for him to fight Carl Froch in the UK in either April or June," Hennessy said.
"It would be a massive fight over here and that offer's on the table right now so we can either do a deal or we can wait for the purse bids on Friday."

"I believe Lou DiBella and Taylor are trying to walk away from this fight and look for the exit door," he added.

Speaking over the phone today on The Steve Bunce Boxing Hour, the vocal Marley said Taylor and his people want nothing to do with the unbeaten "Cobra."

"Jermain Taylor is a shell of what he used to be," Marley said. "He's very vulnerable and he didn't look great in his win against Jeff Lacy. He can't afford another loss, so that's why Taylor's people don't want the fight [with Froch.]

"Even Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles can see they don't want the fight."

Sadly it looks like this fight will not happen anytime soon. The deadline is tomorrow.

    Hennessy's offer was US$1.6 million.

Which places Dibella's offer around the $600,000 mark.

Actually, see the new thread I just made.

DiBella said his offer was $600,000, with Froch getting to keep the UK tv money in addition to that, which is about $800,000, making Froch's purse around $1.45 million.

If that is true, he should jump on it.
