    True.

They should have held it in Nottingham, people would be hanging off the rafters...

really? how did he make it to sydney in 2000?

also, boxing tickets should be way cheaper. its been proven that if its brought to a bigger stadia and make the tickets dirt cheap, people will buy them just as a way to spend the start of a night out etc

The ring-side tickets are quite cheap. The cheapest tickets (50 and 75) are not cheaper than at any other gala, though.

Not sure about that...Froch sold around 6,000 against Pascal, for his big fight. He wouldn't have sold more than 8,000 against Taylor...I don't think. (33% more isn't insignificant either). I'd have preferred Nott. though...and I'd have gone to see it!

Yeah I would have travelled up to Nottingham for that.

What was the capacity for the Pascal fight?

Also i imagine the Pascal victory must have given him a lot of exposure in the area and genrate more interest.

I would have gone to Nottingham for this fight too.

By the way the poster in your avatar makes it look like Enzo is fighting Cook. Hope the opponents do not fall out.

I'm making the trip for this and got my confirmation of $200 tickets ordered the other day. Happy days.

Given how little they are charging for tickets I do wonder why they decided on Foxwoods as a venue? I can't imagine this fight will bring too many high rollers in.

Anyway who cares, it should be a great trip!

Boxing needs to be put in big stadiums at cheaper prices. However the big stadiums need the right atmosphere i.e. huge screens and impressive entrances. Boxing needs to be more of a production.
