According to bbcsport 'Froch's promotion team Hennessy Sports confirmed on Saturday that his fight with Taylor will now only be available online and not on UK TV'.
Nice to see his early fights then not see the biggest fight of his career which could essentially make or breaks his career.

Why the hell wouldn't they have it on? This is a great championship fight with an up and coming British champ

This is embarrassing for Froch but to be fair it is mostly due to the fact the fight will be on so late UK time. I dont see the big deal in say BBC just showing the the replay around 1.00pm on Sunday. Is there anyone old enough to remember what time the BBC showed the 1989 fight between Bruno and Tyson?

Very much feel this is a mistake by Hennessy. How many PPVs does he think he is going to sell online at 10 quid a pop at 4am?

I'm absolutely ****ing furious about this. I really can't ****ing believe it. ITV fed us a line up of over-hyped chumps on Saturday night, and they can't even string a few quid together to show Froch vs. Taylor in a world-title fight? Jesus.

And Mick Hennessy's a cheeky **** for putting it on an online PPV. I'm definitely not buying that - if I'm sitting in front of a computer screen, I'm gonna be watching it on a stream.

TV needs to grow some balls and stop broadcasting **** ****ing soaps and romcoms, and support top athletes.

And Setanta need to start charging more so they can actually afford to do what they advertise to do - buy fights. So far, we've missed out on Froch vs. Taylor, Wright vs. Williams and Pacquiao vs. Hatton's been munched up by Sky.

****ing British TV. It may be expensive, but at least you get what you pay for in the US.

ITV the channel that has shown froch most of the time, will not pay anything for a fight on at 4 am in the morning.

no other country in the world would.

it has been amazing over the years just what warren has gotten away with showing fights at 2 am to 3 am our time on his bills to suit american tv.

while i want to watch it, in these times for itv which are struggling badly and laying off staff and cutting back programming a 4 am boxing fight most probably does not make much sense to them.

IIRC Setenta has been having trouble getting money to get fights. This was the reason given as to why they skimped out on Winky Wright vs Paul Williams.

THAT SAID it is a little disgraceful that Froch's own home base won't be able to see him fight.
