I read mainly to avoid the possibility of the stranger next me thinking I might want to get to know him over the next hour or so!! (**** out or not **** out!!)
Has anyone ever tried to start a conversation with you on the train? I've been using the tube 10 times a week for 5 years and I've never started a conversation (or even seen one most likely) with someone whom I don't know.
The tubes different, everyone just minds their own business but the longer trains have a few nosey ****ers. When I went down to Groves-DeGale from Chester to Milton Keynes the couple opposite me and my mate were a real PITA, esp. the bloke. Posh ****ers. He was still trying to chat away while I was reading my Duran book until his Missus told him to shut up.
He asked why we were going to London, I told him it was to watch boxing. He then tried to talk about boxing, which he clearly had no interest in, until I got my book out. No way was I spending 2 hours talking to a posh bloke about shite!
i hate it when you're on your way home on the train and you're hungry and some **** sits next to with a burger king. but yeah i hate small talk aswel & i used to hate it when i was working late on a friday and when i got the last train home it would be full of drunk old people all having a sing song to songs such as the okie kokie and tom jones delilah...
What a twat! Although I'm trying to get two of my friends into boxing and I've been spamming their inboxes with videos. I'm running out of stuff though.
I sent De La Hoya vs Trinidad (HBO Legendary Nights) to my mate, I think that he ignored it. Lewis vs Tyson - he said that their personalities were boring. atsch I don't think that I should try another video over 10 mins, that's why I didn't send Holyfield vs Bowe/Bowe vs Golota and only sent a clip of the best bits. And if my plan had worked he'd be looking them up of his own accord anyway. :-( I may have to watch some of these myself though first.
