Sturm became underrated on these boards, despite being very impressive lately (only fighter to beat a top5 MW last year). He's popping out the laser jab constantly and with great accuracy, very quick to put the right hand behind it, good defense. I think he gives trouble to both Pavlik and Abraham, and if he can bring his speed, reflexes and stamina up to 168, he can beat Froch, who is very strong and has a great stamina, but not too hard to hit. But on paper, the division definitely favors the bigger man so it really depends how Sturm would look. Abraham is less drained, more energetic and more powerful at 168, horrible fight for anyone other than Kessler and Bute, we are talking about risking an entire career. Balzsay is a bit overlooked, but at the moment I gotta favor Froch, he's much more experienced. Maybe the Hungarian will shine vs. Stieglitz, not exactly and easy fight, but he needs to improve on his stamina, output and maybe footwork to get my vote.

A couple of months ago there was rumour that he would sign with one of the powerful German promoter as soon as he was able to get rid of his present Danish promoter.

Could he become a big draw in Germany?

I am not really sure, but Danes and Germans are very closely relatated........culturally,linguistically,mentalitywise,and so on.

Larsen (NOT Kessler) is German based.

Mads Larsen vs. Froch would be a god fight. I would love to see this.

All of them would beat Froch, the guy just isn't that good. All he has is power (which I guess does always gives him a punchers chance) but if his opponent just boxes him and doesn't try to trade with him they will beat him. I'm not trying to hate on Froch because I admire his willingness to fight anyone but I just feel that while his punching might be top notch, his boxing skills are minimal (he has slow hands and no defense). If he rematched JT he would lose for sure.

Look at all these Froch nuthuggers i remember when everyone was for Taylor :S

Abraham and Kessler destroys him. Sturm has a chance of winning it on points if his chin hold ups
