The Froch versus Ward fight was compared largely to the Hatton versus Mayweather fight, with Froch and Hatton getting dominated by the far technically superior Mayweather and Ward.

Soon after Hatton lost to Mayweather he was in against a less all round skilled fighter, but far superior offensive fighter in Pacquiao and was duly blasted out.

Does anyone see a parralel when looking at the proposed Bute fight? I mean sure Bute is not as technical as Ward was, but he's an offensive beast, and Froch, like Hatton is defensivly flawed.

I am predicting a simmilar battering to take place here.

Not the most interesting comparison, but yeah, I reckon Bute will knock Frochy spark out.

The other comparrison i had was Froch - Bute = Haye - Ruiz because i could see it panning out in simmilar fashion,

Froch getting sat on his tush early on by Bute and then battered until Mcracken saves him from his own bravery followed by retirement.

Froch should rematch Jermain Taylor its his easiest option imo. He doesn't want another Dirrell ass kicking.

Dirrell made the mistake of giving Froch respect in their fight, he made him look like a clumsy oaf, chasing dirrell, missing by miles, looking like a caveman lobbing his fists and getting countered.

in the last couple of rounds Dirrell realised Froch was so basic he could just stand in the pocket and beat Froch to the punch every. single. time, he had froch wobbling and doing a silly dance a couple times.

In a rematch Dirrell will carry on where he left off and destroy froch

''I still don't know why he took a point from me..... I'm still clueless on the point...'' [sobs]

I'm not sure why anyone would want to support this pathetic little ****** to be honest.

I'm not into having to ''take the title away'', but FFS he was pathetic... running away all night.

He shouldnt of moved so much, he didnt need to at all, and it made him look bad and it'll never happen again

but lets be real he schooled froch, on punches landed and EFFECTIVE aggression (lunging in missing wide ass shots is NOT effective aggression) Dirrell won by a country mile

    Heres the official punchstat numbers

    Carl Froch

    Total punches thrown-613

    Total punches landed-39

    Andre Dirrell

    Total Punches thrown-539

    Total punches landed-280

    Total Connect percentage

    Dirrell-52%

    Froch- .....6%

was that really the punch connect - jesus
I had Carl winning the fight by a point due to the headbut deduction

Dirrell could have beaten Froch easily if had let his hands go more and stopped the clowning - he threw that fight away rather than Froch taking it from him

I doubt Froch gets sparked out by anyone, certainly not Bute who is hardly the 'offensive beast' he's being made out to be. But it'll be interesting to see how Carl stands up to the body attack.

The fight goes the distance and is probably pretty close. Bute will get the nod in Canada whatever.

I'd like to see the actual official compubox numbers from Froch/Dirrell. One things for sure, Froch didn't land a lot. More than 6% though I would hope, or that would make it the biggest robbery in the history of the sport.

Lol this guy's a troll. He made those numbers up or pulled them from a Dirrell fansite.

    The ACTUAL numbers are:

    Froch 153/475 32%
    Dirrell 105/315 33%
