Anyone else heard the rumours that this may not be on Sky Sports? Apparently it could end up back on Primetime as Sky Sports aren't prepare to pay for this as they are pulling out of Big Time boxing.
Rumour started by you? They aren't going to go to the trouble of putting the Johnson fight on if they're gonna walk away from the big fight at the end. Froch is on Sky for keeps :happy
I hope this isn't true. I want the thrashing Froch is going to get to be seen by the widest audience possible.
"We'll give you 10k for the fight with Ward as we'll be spending a fortune on fancy graphics and need 20 guys in the studio to talk about the fight Welcome to Sky Sports Carl!"
As far as I'm aware, Haye has not confirmed he will retire as of yet. With Groves being possibly the hottest domestic prospect in Britain at the moment, I'd be very surprised to see Hayemaker just let him go and lose any interest in his career. Plus, even if haye were to retire, it would give him more time to make a real, concerted effort at promoting rather than the shambles Hayemaker turned out to be first time around
He probably wouldn't want to do that full time after retiring but it would be folish for him to lose his interest in Groves
