Of all the fighters in the Super Six, Froch is the most wrong for Ward. Reach: Froch can fight at distance and with this reach advantage he won't get stucked into Ward's best area. If Froch can keep his discipline he'll easily maintain his advantage like he did against Abraham. Froch Stamina: Both guys are in great shape and I don't think this will be a massive issue. Ward throws fewer power punches and has a more economical style so I can see him being fresher at the end of the fight. Ward Chin: Without doubt Froch takes this category. He's been hit hard before but has great powers of recovery. Ward's more questionable. Froch Power: I don't think Froch has true one-punch knockout power but he puts a lot of weight behind his punches and more of a damaging fighter to face, in the same way that Vitali f*cks people up - just not as extreme. Ward doesn't generate any real power but there's no way that Froch will be walking though his shots. Ward's timing is much better and that's where he'll get the advantage. Froch Boxing IQ & Skill: Ward takes this one hands down and this is the category that will probably override the other advantages Froch possesses. Ward will duck below the belt line, headbutt and tie Froch up - he'll also get away with it. If Froch tries to box Ward at anything other than long range, he'll have a bad night. Ward Dirty tricks: Ward is more familiar in this area but if he dishes it out, he'll be getting them back in return. Ward will definitely be the instigator but the ref will probably pull Froch up for retaliation. Ward
People and that includes most Brits surprisingly don't see it, ward is in trouble. FROCH wins this clearly only Vegas judges can make it close. Mark my words. And I am taking 6 month avatar bets versus any American that thinks otherwise.
Froch probably will have to KO Ward. Otherwise hes going to get screwed by the judges. Ward is the american goldenboy at the minute
Froch was impressive tonight, showed a lot of determination and really worked hard to make it look that easy. He made a fan out of me.
I think it might be the other way around. Froch is mobile enough and has a good enough jab to keep Ward off of him, and might be strong enough to maul him right back on the inside. Glen Johnson is very, very good at getting inside on people, but Froch hit him with such a hail of punches everytime he got that close that Glen would just block for a second, and Froch was gone by the time he uncovered and got ready to throw. I can't stand Ward's style. I'm pulling for Froch.
