The Dawson v Johnson fight was poorly promoted locally and not getting the attention and promotion on the world stage that this Super Six Tourney is getting. I've noticed that some of my casual boxing friends are surprisingly following this tournament.

And I was at the fight and I didn't see many empty seats. The window for walk up sales had a long line as I entered the Forum.

Tampa is also a great tourist destination. And looking at the pale pallor on the audiences in Germany and Nottingham they look like they wouldn't mind a few days in paradise while travelling to see a fight.

Plus Tampa is just one of many towns in North America that would come out in droves for a great fight. New York, Philadelphia, Dallas, Cleveland, Detroit, Miami, etc all have large venues and plenty of boxing fans.

The UK and Germany are close enough to find a location in between, I'm sure Froch and Abraham fans would drive to Amserdam or a site similar. If not, and I see Showtime putting the pressure on both sides for a US venue, it could very well end up in MSG, which would be a great choice. Abraham has a lot of US fans, Froch won some hearts vs. Taylor and there are the traveling fans and some more with a proper undercard, so why not?

Bring it on a neutral ground!

If they should both fight on foreign soil why the **** would you choose the US? The Netherlands is right in between both nations, and has several large stadiums where it could be held.

They should do the fight in Montreal. Montreal was north america's vages before there was vagas. It would be way cheapr for the brits to fly to. And 14,000 real boxing fans would show-up and give everyone a great show. Plus you could get Bute and Pascal in the crowd and build some serious hype for spin-off fights.

All of these guys are poor draws away from home, and Allan Green doesn't draw anywhere. You can only make money off of the fights if they happen in hometowns.

Thats why you need to fight in a place like Montreal where you'd get at least 10, 000 people showing up just becuse there was a fight on.
