While this does seem like a fair move, it doesn't really seem like a wise one. In the US, they'll likely struggle to sell tickets, while it'll be a guaranteed sell out in Germany and likely a sizable gate in the UK as well. They also may struggle to sell tickets in Canada considering the turnout for the last significant fight there between two outsiders (Bradley vs. Holt). Unless they could somehow drum up interest by centering the promotion around Lucian Bute and the possibility of him fighting one or the other sometime in the future.

TV2 shows all the Super Six fights for free (without Kesslers of course). They showed the Dirrell vs Abraham fight which was also in the middle of the night

 

both fighters have had one fight at home and the other away.it would be unfair to one of the fighters if there was home advantage involved.this way,there are no excuses.

 

This is a disgrace. I thought they'd agreed that it would be in the UK?

Tell that to the refs that stole victory from Lazcano and Tsyzu and the corrupt judges who one gave the victory to Witter over Bradley and the refs who stole the fight from Dirrell when he fought Froch.

Germany has so of the worst corruption, but England isn't too far off.

 

It won't be in Montreal, the two big tickets sellers, Bute and Pascal, are with HBO so you can't make a good card for Showtime...It will most certainly be in the States, maybe Atlantic City.
