Froch vs. Abraham Who wins?

    Both fighters have exceptional Power combined with what seem to be decent chins.Since AA has to kill himself to make 160lbs he will move up to SMW eventually, so this fight might happen, especially if you consider both guys aren´t the ducking type...
    So we are talking about a fight at 168 here.
    Even at the higher weigh class i think Abraham´s better defence gives him the notch here.He carried his Power well to the higher weigh in the Miranda fight so ultimately i see a late stoppage in Abraham´s favor.

    What do you think?

    Yep, I think you are spot on.

    Abraham's shell defence is the key difference, whereas Froch's is the complete opposite with his hands down.

    Froch's best chance would be to just jab jab jab...forget about those big shots that leave him open.

    I think it would look kinda wild and sloppy.

    Why talk about a MW vs a SMW when they still have business in their weight classes?

    Why not? I think it would be a great fight, kind of a slugfest where both fighters will have their moments.Both have similar strengths so it´s interesting to see who people favor in this fight.

    Pavlik wouldn't beat Froch. Abraham wouldn't beat Froch.

    The only reason Pascal wasn't KO'd was the fact he kept his head mobile, particuarly ducking down to belt level on the right side. Abraham + Pavlik are standup straight fighters so there's no way I could see them avoiding that stinging right of Froch's

    Havnt yet watch the whole Froch Pascal fight so opinion may vary.

    But I think defence could be the key, as AA actually uses his guard he doesnt get hit by anything too significant, well not on a regular basis anyway, Froch has average defence at best and i dont think he is slick enough to get away with the ever popular 'Roy Jones stance'.

    itd be close but im leaning towards Abraham.

    But you see Froch with his average defence at best avoiding anything Abraham or Pavlik throws?AA might not have the head movement Pascal displayed, but beause of his shell defence he wouldn´t need to keep his head as mobile.It´s a tough guard to penetrate therefore i think Froch will have a hard time hitting AA clean, whereas AA with his counterpunching style will hit Froch almost at will.And considering AA´s Power i don´t think Froch will last the distance...

    Any new opinions on the outcome of this fight based on Froch´s last performance vs. Taylor? I still think AA beats him.It might even be faster than expected.Froch is just too easy to hit.Sure, the guy has heart, but if AA figures him out and catches him early a la Miranda 2 he will finish him off.Froch might not eben last 6 rounds.

    Both hit hard and have good chins. Abraham's 1-punch KO power will however make the difference. Since Froch is not very dificult to hit Abraham will land a bomb and then it will probably be good night.

    Froch would have a greater chance against for example Winky than AA does because Froch is far more busy and neither will KO winky anyway. But because of styles, I hagve to go with AA in this one.

    Abraham puts people to sleep, Froch keeps his hands down.
