Abraham has an absolute iron chin, not just a decent one. Form all his limitations, Miranda is a big puncher and he could not drop Abraham with a broken jaw. Abraham also has perfect body mechanics for the turtle shell defense, the way he covers body and head is very difficult to penetrate. Froch has a little less of everything, Abraham wins this one easily. Pavlik and Kessler would be the most difficult opponents for Abraham at 160 - 168, not Froch.

Abraham was born and bred to get Pavlikated. LuJaun ****ing Simon split Arthur's gaurd and snapped his head back with jabs! What do you think Pavlik's jack hammer is going to do? Edison Miranda has very sloppy offense, but he damn near tore Abraham's face off. Pavlik would have finished him in round 4 or 5. Arthur's response to pressure is to run to the ropes or a corner. That's where Pavlik's victims go to die. Ya, someone in this scenario needs to alter his style, but it sure as hell ain't KP. Is Arthur suddenly going to develop BHop's footwork and Taylor's handspeed? I think not.

Froch is not in AA's class imo. Froch is too easy to hit for AA who has pin point accuracy and power.

I'd pick AA to ko Froch, and Froch to ko Pavlik.

froch is waaaay too easily hittable to even be in the ring with a guy like abraham. all AA would have to do is wait a few rounds for froch to stick his chin out and boom, all over. it would probably look a little something like abraham miranda 2.

You analysis is a bit harsh and one sided. Abraham isn't going to lay down for Pavlik, nor become his punching bag. It's going to be a good fight and close. Abraham can use lateral movement when he wants to, and lateral movement is what Hopkins used to beat Pavlik. Granted Abraham doesn't do it as well as Hopkins, but he may not have to. You can never really know how a fight will shape up until it happens.

You might enjoy the first few pages on this thread. It's an old thread, but mostly still relevant.

I can't believe how AA is overrated. He lost the first fight against Miranda (without corruption)

He struggled against Eastman and Jantuah and never fought a good fighter.

I believe AA will kick the dog **** out of Froch. Froch came within 14 seconds of losing to a withered Jermaine Taylor. Froch has faced mostly panty boys up till now. Another UK poser.....

It does not take great pressure to break a jaw, and besides.. Abraham wasn't even hurt once in that fight, and he took flush shots from a powerful knockout artist.

Froch would get sparked by a left hook out the blue.

Left hook? Maybe -- but I'd be more inclined to think it would start with a nice straight right over the top of Froch's low left.
