I think Abraham would be better fighting at 168, the last few fights he had been fighting very avarege, looks like is time to move on or get a lose in the process.
I agree. BTW, you think Taylor landed power punches at a % as high as vs. Kelly Pavlik? (1st fight: 65%, 2 of every 3 punches; 2nd fight: 49%, every 2nd punch). :think
Oh come on why would this happen, Abraham would have to go up to fight Froch. Abraham wants Kelly Pavlik and they have agreed verbally too fight to see who is the best middleweight. So why would he go up in weight to fight a fight thta is not as big.. If they did fight i think King Arthur would finish him before the 8th
Froch would have beaten everyone Abraham has beaten but beaten them more convincingley. I cant say Abraham vs Pascal/Taylor are wins for Abraham. Abraham is a a well managed gimmick, Froch is a genuine Prizefighter. dont insult the prizefighter
Good question. First 3 rounds against Froch, JT looked like he could not freaking miss. After that his connect rate slowed down a bit. Another issue is that Pavlik did a good job of staying right off the end of Taylor's punches, and then rolled with them. (Even Manny Steward said that.) Froch just seemed like he was eating the full force. This is another reason compubox numbers often seem very skewed. One guy rolls with shots, and takes the power out of them. The same shots land flush on another guy. Both get counted as punches connected. As for the subject at hand: Abraham/Froch; I can easily imagine AA landing one of his picture perfect right hands over the top of Froch's low left, hurting him, and then just bombing away to finish him.
You know what I've noticed Pimp....since the Taylor fight you have been MASSIVELY overrating Froch.....not talking just about this but generally. Have you seen the guy fight except Taylor and Pascal? Seriously watch him and see how flawed he is.
