The boxers with the most one shot pop at 160 and 168.

One is more active, arrogant and relies on offense for defense.

One is less active, more cautious and in general with tight defense.

    Both have explosive power.

I would give Froch a great chance in this fight. If he relied on his skills, which believe it or not he does show in glimpses, and he was a good amateur.

If he used his jab and reach more often. I think even the lazy Froch can outwork Abraham. I think he'd need to fight a more disciplined fight than he usually does, but worst comes to the worst he has shown a good chin to take some of Abraham's shots; as long as he doesn't take too many.

Froch's habit of carrying his left very low gets him in a world of **** against anybody with a big right hand.

Here's my question. AA would give up a lot of reach. Are his feet fast enough to close the gap quickly enough to capatilize on Froch's low left?

Well, to be honest Froch has never shown the ability to even utilize his reach effectively. He has a long reach, and a good jab when he uses it, but as we know he's very lazy and prefers to wing in power shots rather than use range or box consistently.

It could be argued he's never had to do so, but its still a question mark going into a fight like this. If Froch fights like he usually does its fighting Abraham at his own game which is dangerous.

I think if Froch did fight as he usually does Abraham easily has the speed to catch him, since Froch does not even maintain distance effectively as it is, and he's hardly a speed demon, nor does he have a good defence. I do think if Froch fought smart he could win on points. Some nothing special fighters have made Abraham struggle by being cute and making him press the action where he isn't comfortable.

Honestly, I don't know. Especially hard to pick a winner in this case, without assuming a lot of things about Froch that might or might not be true.
