froch vs bute first ever live boxing match... what a ****ing night!!!

    best thing was i paid for **** seats but managed to sneak in to one of the lower levels. ended up being about 20 foot away right next to a bunch of romanians. they were really nice people and very gracious in defeat. i was jumping around like a crazed lunatic.

    well done carl!!

    my seats were great £60 ones and they were on the money nearer then some of the floor seats was a weird one lol plus had that slight elevation, was a great night.

    i ended up in a similar seat. im gonna pay a little extra next time and get a decent seat from the start. no point in dicking about looking for a better seat. might aswel pay an extra £20.


    great night. especially since i was convinced bute would win a decision.

    is there a bad seat in the arena? I had a £100 seat towards the back of block 15 and it was a ****ing fantastic view but in reality it looked a compact enough arena for every seat to be decent. Unbelievable weekend. And the £100 on the froch stoppage at 8/1 paid for it too :happy:happy

    my eye sight is very bad. especially when im tired and drunk. but yeah i agree there isnt really a bad seat in the house. if i remembered my glasses i would have been fine.

    did you really put 100 on a froch stoppage? nice one bruv... i would have been running naked in the streets with joy if i did the same.

    it certainly put the icing on the cake ;)

    I see Ladbrokes are going 7/4 on Kessler being his next opponent...tempted to reinvest a chunk of it on that...would pay for some good seats should it come off. Just waiting to see what vibes come out on twitter/interviews etc first...

    It's the logical fight but I just wonder if Carl might prefer to postpone it till the end of the football season so he could have his big night at the City Ground and maybe pick up Steiglitz's belt in between.

    yeah if i didn't go to mayweather cotto i would have got ringside... if he fights kessler at the capital i'll deffo go ringside.

    The undercard was crap, sat in the arena for 5 hours, just wanting to sleep, but that main event made it all worth it. From the fighters coming out Froch having his hand raised. It was brilliant and I'm so glad that I went. I went to see Carl Froch's last fight and to see him blast Bute away like he did was stunning. Everyone went crazy. Glad I was at the back 'cause everyone were launching their drinks everywhere. Lufcrazy went topless swinging his t-shirt about and punched my camera. Was just mental. Great night.

    It was a special night in the arena, the atmosphere really was something else...

    I don't think theres a single bad seat in there TBH. Don't think theres 20 quid difference between the 60 quid seats I was in and the 40 ones, I'd get them next time.
