I had a £80 seat sadly though my view was sometimes blocked because the long armed camera extension they were using.

    but still a great night.

Came up from Cardiff and what a night it was. You nottingham lads are a good bunch. No wankers there unlike when i went to see degale vs groves last year. Thug central. Cracking night out and i dont think ive been so lost in emotion at a live event than when cardiff beat leeds in the fa cup in 01. An absolute night to remember.

    :deal this

I banned the missus from tagging along on the strength of how rough it was at the o2 for groves-degale...as soon as I got in the arena at Nottingham I realised it was a totally different atmosphere and she'd have been fine. Promised her ringside for kessler if it comes off to make up for it.

Groves Degale was awful so many scraps and a group of asians wanted to start on me for cheering on groves and said

"why don't you get in the ring with him innit man" to me.

But was top class in Nottingham last night.

First time I had been to nottinham and I can only echo the other comments about what a top place it was, cracking atmopshere in and around the arena. I espcially liked the the approach pub as they were showing some old Froch fights. (also won a signed Johnny Nelson glove in the raffle!!)

Hope he fights Kessler there later in the year

    Seriously? You jammy ****er :good

Really wanted to put "would smash" but it seemed inappropriate given what you put in your post.

Yeah, no need for that, boxing has it's share of wankers. I'm glad Nottingham was different :good

I was in the £150 seats and it was worth every penny, still had no voice left at this time yesterday evening.

Had an unbelievable day. Happened to be Supping a pint and eating al fresco tapas near lace Market when David Haye and his missus sat on the the next table. Then George Groves turned up and another lad who I think may be Haye's PA.

Groves doesn't seem to know what the plan is next, but that he's WBO number 2 behind Abraham. They were both good about taking photos with fans who recognised them. I badly wanted to show Haye the Chisora poster thread but bottled it!
Kell Brook also happened to walk past and they had some friendly banter.

Me and my pal went to a few decent bars (living room, brass ******) before heading to the arena. I had a £80 ticket but managed to get myself ringside too (no LP). loved the atmosphere, it was absolutely kicking. Froch's new entrance (no robe which never seemed to fit anyway) and No easy way out music was no nonsense brilliance. Haye kissed both ring
Card girls as he walked to the ring! As Bute walked in he seemed cool as a
    cucumber.

I also briefly met Tony Bellew, Paul Smith (in a tracksuit!) and Khan.

During the post fight interviews I was right in amongst it and was embarrassed to see on sky that I can be seen talking to Carl while Eddie Hearn is interviewed. Carl admitted that Bute had hurt him (a surprise) and that he'd backed himself to win (any win). Top, top man.
